2022 F1 United States GP – How to watch, session timings and more

Max Verstappen may have won the F1 World Drivers’ Championship last time out at the Japanese GP, but there is still plenty to contend with, including the constructors’ crown for Red Bull to mathematically seal at COTA this weekend.

But all eyes will be on Red Bull for another reason, as the F1 paddock reconvenes for the first time since news the team was found to have violated last year’s F1 cost caps with a “slight” overspending.

Aston Martin will also be in the spotlight after a procedural breach of the rules was found.

The saga will reignite the debate over the F1 cost cap and the penalties for teams that fall foul of it.

How can I watch Formula 1?

In the UK, Formula 1 is only broadcast live on Sky Sports, with highlights available on Channel 4 several hours after the end of the race. Live streaming via NOW is also available in the UK.

Sky Sports F1, which broadcasts F1 races, can be added as part of the Sky Sports channels at a cost of £20 a month for new customers. Sky Sports can also be accessed through NOW with a one-off daily payment of £11.98 or a monthly membership of £33.99 per month.

Fans who want to watch the race for free will have to wait until Sunday morning (qualifying) or Sunday evening (race) to watch the highlights on Channel 4.

The Circuit of the Americas is set for warm and sunny conditions throughout the race weekend, with a low chance of rain. Highs of 31 degrees Celsius are forecast for the start of the race on Sunday, 10 degrees warmer than last time’s Japanese GP.
