March Madness is in full swing on the court, and now it’s coming to the ice.

A week after the NCAA Men’s And ladies The basketball tournaments are in, the NCAA men’s ice hockey tournament is about to begin. Sunday’s selection show has now given 16 teams from across the country their roadmap to the Frozen Four.

Michigan, Boston University, St. Cloud State, Minnesota State, Colgate and Canisius punched their cards by winning their respective conference tournaments. While these six teams became conference champions, none of them were named top seeds for their respective regionals in the national tournaments.

Minnesota, quinnipic, Michigan and Denver are the teams to beat in their respective regions. Denver strives for it second title in a row and 10th overall. Minnesota, meanwhile, is No. 1 overall after posting a 26-9-1 overall record and dominating the Big Ten during the regular season. Michigan will try to recover from its heartbreak in last year’s Frozen Four against Denver while Quinnipiac is still chasing an elusive first national title.

Where are the 2023 Frozen Four?

The Frozen Four will be held April 6-8 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida for the third time. Tampa hosted the Frozen Four for the first time in 2012 when Boston College defeated Ferris State in the national title fight. Four years later, North Dakota lifted the trophy after beating Quinnipiac in the 2016 championship tournament.

This year, Fargo Regional Champion will take on Manchester Regional Champion and Bridgeport Regional Champion against Allentown Regional Champion in the National Semifinals on Thursday, April 6th. These semi-final winners will then battle it out for the national title at 8pm ET on Saturday, 4/8.

All three Frozen Four Tilts will air on ESPN2.
