The mirror reported that United have inquired about the former Manchester City winger’s availability as manager Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his attacking options.
Sané only started 22 games for Bayern last season in the Bundesliga, leading many to believe he had fallen out of favor with the Bavarian giants. Sadio Mané’s arrival also has football pundits wondering how much time Sané would get.

Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić has dismissed reports that the winger could move to Old Trafford.
As reported by BulinevsSalihamidžić dismissed the reports and said there was nothing to it.
“Leroy is an important player for us so there’s nothing to say about that at all,” he said.
United have also been linked with 19-year-old striker Benjamin Šeško this summer transfer window but the RB Salzburg player is expected to join RB Leipzig instead.

RB Leipzig is about to sign another striker. The German striker has agreed a deal with Chelsea to replace Timo Werner and is now closer to signing Benjamin Šeško from Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Twitter that Leipzig are finalizing a deal to bring the 19-year-old forward to Germany in the summer of 2023.
Leipzig had hoped to bring in the striker that year but Salzburg rejected the idea. Still, the deal is expected to be finalized and announced by the end of the week.
