Aston Villa vs. Everton: Time, TV channel, stream, betting odds for Premier League clash
Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard face off at opposite dugouts for the first time this weekend as Everton head to Aston Villa.
The pair have won 220 caps for England together, as midfield partners for over 15 years, but the duo are now aiming to make their mark in Premier League management.
Gerrard secured Villa 14th last season after replacing Dean Smith at Villa Park, with Lampard eventually guiding Everton away from relegation after arriving on Merseyside in January.
However, it was a disappointing start to the 2022/23 season as Villa lost 2-0 at newly promoted Bournemouth and Chelsea won 1-0 at Goodison Park in the opening weekend.
Sporting News brings you all the information you need ahead of this weekend’s game.

Aston Villa vs Everton predicted lineups
Tyrone Mings is expected to be out for Gerrard again as he continues to grapple with him after being stripped of the club captaincy last month.
Gerrard has named John McGinn as the new club skipper, while Mings is still working on his match fitness and Kourtney Heimat is out with a knee injury.
Estimated line-up of Aston Villa (4-3-3): Martinez (GK) – Digne, Carlos, Konsa, Cash – Bundia, Kamara, McGinn – Coutinho, Ings, Bailey
Ben Godfrey has joined Andros Townsend on Lampard’s long-term injury list, with star striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin sidelined for a month with a knee problem.
Captain Seamus Coleman is back in contention for the visitors and should return to the Toffees’ starting XI with Conor Coady for his debut.
Everton predicted line-up (5-4-1): Pickford (GK) – Myolenko Tarkowski, Mina, Coady, Coleman – Gray, Allan, Doucoure, McNeil – Gordon

Aston Villa vs Everton betting odds
The opening weekend defeat for both sides makes this clash difficult as both Gerrard and Lampard aim to avoid an unwelcome record of consecutive defeats this month.
Villa won home and away against Everton last season, once under Smith and once under Gerrard, and they will have an advantage on their return to the home turf early on Saturday.
