The NFL preseason continues on Saturday, August 20 with a packed schedule. The eight-game list is capped by a showdown in Los Angeles between the Cowboys and the Chargers.
Both teams are aiming for their first win of the preseason after suffering losses at the start of their exhibition plans.
The Cowboys gave the Broncos a tough game, scoring just one point in a 17-7 loss. Stars like Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and CeeDee Lamb have all sat in the first preseason contest and there is no indication if they will qualify for the Week 2 Dallas vs. Los Angeles clash.
At the start of the preseason, the Chargers lost 29:22 to their house rival Rams. Similarly, the majority of their stars didn’t fit, with the likes of Justin Herbert, Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack all watching from the sidelines.
It has yet to be determined if these players will also be available for week 2.
