MBC Media Solutions renews ties with Saudi Sports Company
The agreement gives brands access to all sporting events including the Saudi Super Cup, American National Football League and AFC Champions League.
MBC Media Solutions (MMS), the commercial arm of MBC Group, has renewed its partnership with the Saudi Sports Company (SSC) TV and digital channel network for the next three years.
This is the second year in a row that MMS has positioned itself as the sole representative for all advertising on SSC content.
The announcement comes after a successful year between the two, in which MMS applied its expertise in both digital and broadcast marketing and advertising to bring SSC brands’ sports content to the market, which is part of some of the most watched sports want to be in the kingdom.
SSC, which broadcasts the best sports competitions in Saudi Arabia along with the world’s most popular leagues and sports, will broadcast across a range of channels that will remain accessible via both GoBox and Shahid subscription services.
At the top of the sports catalog is football, the most watched sport in the Kingdom, with some games reaching 52% of viewership and 40% of Saudi households. Households that watched these games completed 80% of the entire game.
SSC has the exclusive rights to broadcast the upcoming Prince Mohammad bin Salman Pro League, including the King Cup and the Saudi Super Cup, as well as regional/international tournaments, such as the AFC Asian Cup 2023, to be played in China, and the AFC among others Champions League.
SSC will also broadcast sporting events such as the American National Football League (NFL), Formula 1, World Rally Championship (WRC) and local basketball, handball and volleyball leagues.
The agreement gives brands access to all of these sporting events. You also have access to many other benefits through the suite of innovative solutions that MMS offers around the content, where possible within the content and across all devices and transmission systems.
