It’s not known what the private meeting was about, but many fans have reported that it may be related to their first podcast series, Archetypes.
Meghan is getting ready to launch her Archetypes podcast
As early as March, the couple’s production company Archewell Audio and Spotify announced that Archetypes will be released this summer.
Meghan will host the series, which “examines the labels trying to hold women back”. In “uncensored conversations,” the mother of two will speak to historians and experts to uncover the origins of these stereotypes.
In a teaser released earlier this year, the Duchess could be heard saying: “This is how we talk about women: the words that raise our girls and how the media reflects women back to us… but where do these stereotypes come from?” And how do they keep popping up and determining our lives?”

She also previewed the types of guests that will be featured throughout the season. “This is ‘Archetypes’ – the podcast where we dissect, explore and subvert the labels that try to hold women back,” she said.
“I will engage in conversations with women who know all too well how these typologies shape our narratives. And I will speak to historians to understand how we got here in the first place.”
Archetypes will mark the first podcast series in Spotify’s exclusive multi-year partnership with Archewell Audio. Fans have been waiting for updates on the couple’s multi-million deal with Spotify for over a year and will no doubt look forward to the summer release.
