WNBA Playoffs 2022: How to Watch Game 3 of Sun vs. Wings Tonight
The 2022 WNBA Playoffs are in full swing as the best women basketball players in the world compete for the championship. The Las Vegas Aces eliminated the Phoenix Mercury in decisive fashion on Saturday, winning their second game thanks to strong play from Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum and A’Ja Wilson.
The Mercury entered the playoffs shorthanded. Star center Brittney Griner remains incarcerated in Russia after being sentenced to nine years in a penal colony for drug smuggling. Griner has appealed her conviction amid talks of a prisoner swap.
Meanwhile, Seattle Storm legend Sue Bird, at 41, became the oldest player to hit a WNBA playoff double-double as the Storm swept the Washington Mystics. The Aces and the Storm meet in the semifinals of the WNBA Playoffs, which begin Sunday.
Only one game remains in the first round. Tonight, Brionna Jones and the Connecticut Sun plan to shut down the Dallas Wings. Wings superstar Aike Ogunbowale should be back in the lineup after missing the first two games of the series through injury. The Game 3 winner will face Kahleah Copper and Chicago Sky in Sunday’s semifinals. Game 3 will be broadcast tonight 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) on ESPN.

What does the first round of the playoffs look like?
Unlike previous seasons, all teams play best-of-three in the first round. The winners then advance to a best-of-five semifinals followed by a best-of-five WNBA finals.
