How to Get to Sumeru in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact 3.0 update has just landed on all platforms, bringing with it the home of the Dendro Archon and a whole new storyline, as well as new characters and weapons to collect. If you can’t wait to start the new story or explore this dense forest environment full of puzzles, you’re probably wondering how to get to the lush new forest zone Sumeru. You’re in luck because unlike Inazuma, Sumeru can also be reached without being completely caught up in the Archon quest line. Here’s a walkthrough of how to get to Sumeru in Genshin 3.0!
How to get to Sumeru in Genshin Impact?
Genshin Impact’s new region, Sumeru, lies to the west and shares a long border with the Liyue region. There are many entrances to the Sumeru region, including a direct flight over the great cliffs of The Chasm, but the best way to enter Sumeru is to head to the Teleport Waypoint west of The Chasm at the Cinnabar Cliffs.
From here you can see a dark tunnel entrance cut into the cliff. As you progress through the tunnel you will see the environment gradually shift from The Chasm’s mine environment to the more lush and lush Sumeru style. There’s even a seelie to guide you through the tunnel.
When you come out the other side of the tunnel you will find yourself in the new region of Sumeru. Immediately after exiting the tunnel is this region’s equivalent of Inazuma’s Electrogranums known as the Four-Leaf Sigils. These four-leafed sigils can be used to quickly reach the Statue of the Seven, located on a nearby cliff. Interacting with the Statue of the Seven will reveal the map of that region and can even be used to resonate the Traveler with the newly usable Dendro element.
How to start the Archon quest Through Smokey Mists and Dark Woods.
While Sumeru is accessible to anyone who can enter The Chasm territory, the new Archon quest Through Mists of Smoke and Forests Dark is a bit more limited. If you wish to begin the new story, make sure you are Adventure Rank 35 or higher and have completed the prerequisite quest Requiem of the Echoing Depths, in which the traveler ventures into the depths of the abyss.
If you have met these requirements, the next Archon quest Through Smokey Mists and Dark Woods should appear on your quest page. The first sub-quest in this series is “A Forest of Change,” which asks the player to enter the land of the dendro-archon Sumeru. A quest marker is provided, although it points to the area near the exit of The Chasm’s tunnel to Sumeru described above, rather than the entrance. This means the player still has to navigate to Sumeru themselves, either through the convenient tunnel entrance in the Cinnabar Cliffs, one of the many other tunnels along the western border, or clamber over the mountains and slide down into this area.
That’s it – you should now be able to get to Sumeru! If you’re looking for more Genshin guides, check out below:
