How to get map fragments in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder
To get Map Fragments in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder, you must grind the new six-player seasonal activity called Ketchcrash. After defeating the final boss in Ketchcrash, open the chest to get a handful of map fragments and other loot.
Each run of Ketchcrash will reward you with 10-11 Map Fragments, which isn’t much, so you’ll probably need to do 3-4 runs of Ketchcrash every week to get the required amount of Map Fragments.
As mentioned above, to restore treasure maps in Captain’s Atlas you need map fragments. Initially, you will need 5 Map Fragments to restore a basic Treasure Map, but higher variants of it will require more of this new resource, so get started!
And that’s all you need to know about how to acquire map fragments in Destiny 2. If you’re new to Destiny 2, you should know that the game’s seasonal model is a bit overwhelming to get used to.
