How to get to Borean Tundra in Northend?
Borean Tundra is the easiest objective to reach for both Horde and Alliance players, and is likely the zone you’ll end up in if you don’t realize there’s an alternative.
To the Horde playersgo to Orgrimmar’s main gate– the southern one leading to Durotar – and look for that zeppelin tower found on the outside and on the right. There are two zeppelin towers just outside Orgrimmar and the one you are looking for can also send you to Thunder Bluff. Hop in the zeppelin and it will take you to the Borean Tundra.
alliance player must to go Stormwind City Harbour and find them northernmost port. Here you will find a boat that will take you to the Borean Tundra, although you may have to wait a few minutes for it to return.
How to get to Howling Fjord?
The Howling Fjord is far more alive than the desolate surroundings of the Borean tundra. If you choose to start your quest in this area, you will need to travel to reach the starting point.
Horde players have to get going first Tirisfal Glades in the eastern kingdoms. If you don’t have a friendly mage on standby to open a portal to the Undercity, you’ll need to go to the Zeppelin Tower to the left of the Orgrimmar Gates—Not the one that takes you to the Borean Tundra. From here you can take a zeppelin to Tirisfal Glades.
Once in Tirisfal Glades, go down the steps of the zeppelin tower and up the one next to it. From here you can take another Zeppelin to Howling Fjord.
alliance player should go Port of Menethilfound in the wetlands in the eastern kingdoms. If you have the flight point for this location, great. Otherwise, you’ll have to run there from the closest one you have – this one should not too much trouble because of your level. Once you arrive, go to Dock on the far right and a boat arrives to take you to Howling Fjord.
