Mavericks Improve to 13th in Latest WBCA Poll – Minnesota State University
MANKATO, Minn. — The Minnesota state women’s basketball team moved up to 13th place in the most recent edition of the WBCA poll.
MSU moved up a spot in the poll after beating Wayne State (94-80) and Augustana (83-61) on the road last weekend.
The Mavericks are one of two NSIC teams in the top-25. Minnesota Duluth improved to 11th after beating UMary (72-52) and Minot State (63-41) at home last weekend. Augustana receives votes.
The state of Minnesota wraps up its regular season schedule this week. MSU hosts Winona State at 7:30 p.m. Thursday before traveling to Upper Iowa at 4 p.m. Saturday.
