Jazz at Grizzlies Prediction
The Jazz (29-30 SU, 31-26-2 ATS, 34-23 O/U) are playing their last game before tonight’s All-Star break against the Grizzlies (34-22 SU, 27-27- 2 ATS, 25-29 O/U).
The Grizzlies are a team that loves to run and thrive in transition. They rank third on the season in fast break points, while the Jazz are 29th in transition defense. During the season, Utah has dropped 17.2 points in transition, but in the last five games that number has risen to 22.8. The Jazz have also turned the ball quite a bit since the Mike Conley trade, which will result in a ton of extra points for Memphis. The Grizzlies are also great at getting into the paint and scoring on the rim, another area where the Jazz struggles on defense.
PICK: Grizzly Bears -8.5

Rockets at Thunder Prediction
The Rockets (13-44 SU, 22-31-4 ATS, 28-29 O/U) aim to win the season series 3-1 if they take on the Thunder (27-29 SU, 35-21 ATS, 32-23 O/U) for the fourth and last time this season.
When the Rockets and Thunder last played each other, they combined for 274 points. High-scoring games have been an issue for both teams, with over-hitting in four of each team’s last five games. Houston has dropped 130, 140, and 153 points in three of those games, with the 153-point performance coming from Thunder. Oklahoma City has the highest offensive rating in the league over the past five games, while both teams’ defenses have ranked in the bottom six over the same period. With the all-star break on the horizon, I don’t think we’re going to see much defense in this game. Take this before it blows up!
PICK: Rockets Thunder OVER 236
Mavericks at the Nuggets prediction
The Nuggets (40-18 SU, 30-25-3 ATS, 27-30 O/U) return home after three games and now turn their attention to the Mavericks (31-28 SU, 22-34-3 ATS, 33 -26 O/U).
This game opened with the Nuggets a 6.5-point favorite, but the line has shifted in the Mavericks’ favor and I concur with that move. You can get Dallas at +5 on DraftKings, which is the best number on the market as of this writing. Denver has a few players on the injury report, including Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon. Gordon has missed the last two games, and I’d be surprised if the Nuggets bring him back before the All-Star break. Nikola Jokic will be a problem for the Mavs front court, but Dallas should have no trouble defending the perimeter tonight. Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic are still learning how to play together but that should come together now that they’ve had a few games under their belt. Dallas has also covered the spread in five of its last six meetings in Denver.
CHOOSE: Outsider +5
