Ryan Reynolds “ain’t telling” the sex of his new baby.
The ‘Deadpool’ actor’s wife Blake Lively revealed on Sunday that their fourth child – a sibling for daughters James, eight, Inez, six, and three-year-old Betty – had been born via an Instagram post showing her baby bump had gone, and the 46-year-old actor insisted the pair have no plans to make a formal announcement about the tot’s birth.
Asked if they had had a boy or a girl, he told CNBC’s ‘Power Lunch: “I ain’t telling. This ain’t a birth announcement.
“We didn’t make a birth announcement, we just posted a photo and the media sort of did what it does after that.”
But the ‘Free Guy’ actor confirmed his family were all “doing fantastic” since the baby was born.
He said: “We’re very excited. Look, we wouldn’t do this four times if we didn’t love it. Everybody’s doing great. Everybody’s actually doing fantastic. If we hadn’t figured it out by now, I think we’d be in deep, deep trouble.”
However, Ryan joked things were also rather chaotic in their home.
Speaking via video link, he quipped: “It’s a zoo over here.
“This is my office here. To be honest, I’ll probably spend the rest of my life in here.”
Blake revealed over the weekend she had given birth.
The former ‘Gossip Girl’ star simply shared an image on Instagram which showed her without a baby bump and captioned the post: “Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023 been busy.”
Ryan recently praised his family for giving him “more strength than any man could possibly deserve.”
Speaking as he accepted the Icon prize at the People’s Choice awards, he said: “Blake and my girls, you are quite literally – you’re my heart. You’re my hope, you’re my happiness.
“I joke that my family exhausts me but in reality you give me more strength than any man could possibly deserve.”

Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be desperate to overhaul his reputation for only dating models and actresses under 25.
The Oscar-winning ‘Gangs of New York’ actor, who is due to turn 49 in November, has been ridiculed by commentators for his habit of dating women around half his age, and faced a backlash from his critics when he was this month linked with 19-year-old Israeli model Eden Polani, following his split from Camila Morrone after she turned 25.
A source close to Leo told DailyMail.com on Thursday about how he’s “not pleased” with constant jokes about and criticism of his love life: “Leo is very single right now and he is not keen on the hype suggesting that he is seeking out these very young women.
“He is looking for something more mature in the relationship department.
“It is just ridiculous because he cannot go anywhere without being linked to the youngest beautiful woman there. He wants to ditch this image once and for all and he is really bothered that this continues to follow him.
“Leo wants something like he had with Camila, something real.”
After the actor’s split from Camila he was photographed with models including 25-year-old Victoria Lamas and most recently Eden, who several sources have denied is in a relationship with the actor.
An insider told DailyMail.com at the time about how Leo wasn’t dating Eden: “They were seated next to each other at a music-listening party There were a number of people at that event.”
Leo’s dating life hit the spotlight after he starred in ‘Titanic’, and two years after its release he started seeing the then-18-year-old supermodel Gisele Bündchen, when he was 24.
Their relationship lasted five years before they split in 2004 when Leo was 23, and a year later he started dating model Bar Rafaeli, when she was 20.
Again, their relationship lasted five years before they broke up when Bar turned 25 in 2010 – kicking off a similar dating pattern for Leo that has lasted until now.
In 2011, he dated actress Blake Lively when she was 23 before he got together with model Erin Heatherton, 22, for a few months.
He moved on to German model Toni Garrn when she was 22, before they split in 2014 when she was 24. In 2015, he went out with actress Kelly Rohrbach, who was 25 at the time – before they split when she turned 26.
His romance with actress Nina Agdal that started in 2016 ended two years later when she was 25, and Leo then started dating Camila – before splitting with her last summer, a month after she turned 25.
He then briefly dated model Gigi Hadid, 27, then again went back to younger women when he was linked to actor Lorenzo Lamas’ daughter, Victoria, 25, from whom he was said to have split last August.

‘Good Vibrations’ has been named the “happiest song of all time”, according to a scientific study.
The classic rock track was first released by The Beach Boys in 1966 and now musicologist Dr Michael Bonshor has claimed that its joyful nature is down to the fact that it ticks all the boxes of his formula, including being written in 137BPM, in a major key with a short intro and bright tones, and it contains four beats in every bar.
He said: “Previous studies have found songs are perceived as happy if they are in a major key, with a sweet spot of approximately 137 beats per minute. We like ‘7th chords’ as they add interest – regular chords use three notes, whereas ‘seventh chords’ add an extra note which provides a sense of musical ‘tension’ and ‘relief’.”
The track – which was at the time of its production the most expensive single ever recorded because of its complex soundscapes and new formula – was written by group members Brian Wilson and Mike Love and is often considered to be one of the most important compositions and recordings of the entire rock era after it became an overnight success and topped the charts in several countries around the globe upon its initial release.
Dr Bonshor added: “Alongside this, cheery songs usually have a strong 1-2-1-2 beat to them, so that you can dance along – and a short introduction means the song kicks off with a bang straight away, and there’s not a long build up. We like high volume when it comes to how our happy songs are made, with notes played in a bright and bouncy way by instruments such as trumpets or electric guitars, instead of mellower instruments. Finally, a repetitive rhythm or guitar riff that people can latch onto and becomes memorable is the cherry on the cake.”

Dick Van Dyke joked people were surprised when he was unmasked on ‘The Masked Singer’ because they “thought [he] was dead.”
The ‘Mary Poppins’ actor’s elimination in the first episode of the new series of the show was teased as “the most legendary, decorated and beloved unmasking in history,” and the 97-year-old star admitted he didn’t think any of the panel – Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy – would have predicted he’d be the man behind the Gnome.
Asked about the guesses he was Tony Bennett, Dustin Hoffman or Robert De Niro, he told Entertainment Weekly: “I felt pretty good about Tony Bennett. I wasn’t crazy about any of the other ones.
“But I knew that they couldn’t guess who I was. I don’t think they expected anybody from my generation to be on that show. So I knew I was gonna fool them.
“They were so surprised. I stepped out and everybody’s mouths dropped open. I think some people thought I was dead.”
Dick had never seen the show before he was asked to appear but thought it “looked like fun” when he finally caught an episode.
He said: “When they asked me to do it, I had never seen it. So I looked at it on the air and it looked like fun.
“And I was so positive that nobody would ever guess it was me, that they would have somebody 97 years old on there.
“And the experience was weird, because they have to keep it a secret from the crew.
“So I walked around with my head covered with people leading me. They’ve got a nice crew, but I never got to meet any of them!
“I would say it’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever done.”
While Dick loves that he still attracts new fans, he is frustrated with the format in which old episodes of his eponymous TV show airs now.
He said: “So much fun — the only thing that bothers me is the old ‘Dick Van Dyke Show’ still runs in reruns. But now, there are twice as many commercials than there used to be, so the shows are chopped all up and I can’t even watch them.
“We put them together so carefully, and now they just don’t work too well. That makes me mad.”

Rihanna thinks there is a “lot of mending to be done” but she felt it was “powerful” for her to perform at the Super Bowl.
The 34-year-old singer previously turned down the opportunity to headline the halftime slot at the flagship NFL game in 2019 as a show of solidarity for Colin Kaepernick – who alleged he had been frozen out by the organization due to his protests against racial injustice – but she took to the stage during the sporting extravaganza and has now explained her decision to do so.
Referring to last year’s halftime performers Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar, she said: “There’s still a lot of mending to be done in my eyes, but it’s powerful to break those doors, and have representation at such a high, high level and a consistent level.”
“Two Super Bowls back-to-back, you know, representing the urban community, globally. It is powerful. It sends a really strong message.”
And the birth of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s son – whose name hasn’t been publicly revealed – last May was also a factor in her decision.
She told Britain’s Vogue magazine: “Raising a young Black man is one of the scariest responsibilities in life. You’re like, ‘What am I leaving my kids to? This is the planet they’re gonna be living on?’ All of those things really start to hit differently.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna – who revealed during the Super Bowl she’s pregnant with her second child – admitted becoming parents has brought her and Rocky closer together.
She said: “We’re best friends with a baby,” […] “We have to be on the same page, but we’ve always kind of had that in our relationship. Everything changes when you have a baby but I wouldn’t say it’s done anything but made us closer.”
And the ‘Work’ hitmaker loves to see the bond between the two men in her life.
She said: “The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire. The whole thing they say about sons and moms, it’s a myth. Sons and fathers is crazy. I realised that the validation that you really need as a boy is from your father.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were mocked as “dumb and stupid” in the latest episode of ‘South Park’.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were not named in the cartoon, which was titled ‘The Worldwide Privacy Tour’ but the couple – who stepped down from royal duties in 2020 – bear a strong resemblence to central characters The Prince and Princess of Canada, who simultaneously requested privacy while drawing attention to themselves.
The episode began with the news that the Queen of Canada had died, with the pair arriving for her funeral and being booed by other royals for their attitude towards the monarchy – with one even farting on the Princess of Canada’s face.
Another scene showed the couple boarding their private jet for a global ‘We Want Privacy’ tour, taking in countries including Australia, India, and France as the pair chanted about their dream of being left alone.
Later in the episode, the couple – who eventually move to South Park in their quest for a normal life – appear on ‘Good Morning Canada’ and hold up signs, with the prince’s saying “We want privacy” and the princess holding one carrying the slogan “Stop looking at us”.
Asked if he hates journalists, the prince agrees but the couple then storm off the show when the host points out his royal guest is also a journalist because of his new book ‘Waaagh’ , which has a very similar cover to that of Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’.
The couple eventually move to South Park in their quest for a normal life, infuriating locals, in particular their new neighbour Kyle.
The youngster moans: “They have this huge jet parked in front of my house and they keep on wanting me to buy their book.”
And while the group’s classmates sit discussing the “prince and his wife” in the school dining hall, he ranted: “It‘s seriously driving me crazy.
“I‘m sick of hearing about them. But I can’t get away from them, they’re everywhere. In my f****** face.”
Stan replied: “Look, Kyle, we just kind of don’t care about some dumb prince and his stupid wife.”

The ‘I Am Legend’ sequel will focus on the book’s alternate ending.
Producer and writer Akiva Goldsman is returning to Warner Bros with a multi-year first look deal which includes the follow-up starring Will Smith and Michael B Jordan – as well as Keanu Reeves’ return for ‘Constantine 2’ – and he admitted more inspiration will be taken from Richard Matheson’s novel.
He told Deadline: “We trace back to the original Matheson book, and the alternate ending as opposed to the released ending in the original film.
“What Matheson was talking about was that man’s time on the planet as the dominant species had come to an end.
“That’s a really interesting thing we’re going to get to explore. There will be a little more fidelity to the original text.”
Goldsman noted that he’s taking some inspiration from HBO series ‘The Last of Us’ when it comes to telling the story over a longer period of time.
He explained: “This will start a few decades later than the first. I’m obsessed with ‘The Last of Us’, where we see the world just post-apocalypse but also after a 20-30-year lapse.
“You see how the earth reclaims the world, and there’s something beautiful in the question of, as man steps away from being the primary tenant, what happens?
“That will be especially visual in New York. I don’t know if they’ll climb up to the empire state building, but the possibilities are endless.”
He went deeper into his approach, noting that Warner bosses Michael De Luca and Pam Adby share his commitment to targeting “thoughtful things that can play theatrically.”
He added: “We’re all trying to figure out where that strike zone is, and I want to be able to help with IP I know and find pieces that are a little more actor-ey and story driven but not as IP driven.”

Bruce Willis is suffering a rare and “cruel” form of dementia that can affect movement and behaviour.
The ‘Die Hard’ actor, 67, last year retired from acting after he was diagnosed with brain disorder aphasia, and his family have now revealed he has now been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia after his condition “progressed”.
A joint statement from his five children, wife Emma Heming, 44, and ex-wife Demi Moore, 60, posted on The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration’s website on Thursday, said: “Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis.
“In the spirit of that, we wanted to give you an update about our beloved husband, father and friend since we now have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing.
“Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD.)
“Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces.
“While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.
“FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone. For people under 60, FTD is the most common form of dementia, and because getting the diagnosis can take years, FTD is likely much more prevalent than we know.
“Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the years ahead. As Bruce’s condition advances, we hope that any media attention can be focused on shining a light on this disease that needs far more awareness and research.
“Bruce always believed in using his voice in the world to help others, and to raise awareness about important issues both publicly and privately.
“We know in our hearts that – if he could today – he would want to respond by bringing global attention and a connectedness with those who are also dealing with this debilitating disease and how it impacts so many individuals and their families.
“Ours is just one family with a loved one who suffers from FTD, and we encourage others facing it to seek out the wealth of information and support available through AFTD
“And for those of you who have been fortunate enough to not have any personal experience with FTD, we hope that you will take the time to learn about it, and support AFTD’s mission in whatever way you can.
“Bruce has always found joy in life – and has helped everyone he knows to do the same. It has meant the world to see that sense of care echoed back to him and to all of us.
The statement was signed off by Emma, Demi, and Bruce’s daughters Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, Tallulah, 29 – who Bruce had with Demi – and his girls Mabel, 10, and Evelyn, 8, who he had with Emma.
The actor’s rare condition – which consists of less than five per cent of all dementia cases – affects the lobes of the brain behind the forehead, which deal with behaviour, problem-solving, planning and emotions.
Symptoms can include personality changes, such as appearing rude, uninterested and unsympathetic, along with repeated, compulsive movements, hoarding and obsessions as well as craving unhealthy food.

Ryan Seacrest is leaving ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’ after almost six years – and will be replaced by Kelly Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos.
The 48-year-old presenter broke the “bittersweet” news early into Thursday’s episode of the long-running morning show, and explained it had been a “tough, tough decision” to make, but he plans to focus on his commitment to hosting ‘American Idol’.
He said: “This is something that [Kelly] and I have been talking about for a long time, and it was a tough, tough decision. Last year we spoke, and I made the decision to make this my last season as co-host.
“What I plan to do is once ‘American Idol’ starts from Los Angeles later this spring, I’ll head out to the West Coast and host that show.”
While Mark will be taking over as regular presenter, Ryan promised he will return to” guest host and fill in” at times.
In a statement, Ryan praised working with Kelly, 52, as a career “highlight.”
He said: “Working alongside Kelly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career. She has been an amazing partner, friend, and confidant, and although we will always be a part of each other’s lives, I will miss our mornings together.
“I also want to thank Michael Gelman and the entire staff and crew – we’ve made memories to last a lifetime, met some of the most incredible people and had the warmest welcome into the homes of so many viewers across America. It’s been a memorable ride and now I’m excited to pass the baton to Kelly’s ‘real’ husband, Mark [Consuelos].”
Meanwhile, Kelly – who joined ‘Live’ in place of Kathie Lee Gifford in 2001, teaming up with Regis Philbin for 10 years and then Michael Strahan from 2012 to 2016 – paid tribute to her “dear friend.”
She said: “I’m so grateful to have spent the last six years beside my dear friend of too many decades to count and will miss starting my days with Ryan. Ryan’s energy, passion and love for entertainment is one-of-a-kind.”
Mark has previously filled in for Ryan on a number of occasions, but Kelly – the mother of his children Mark, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 19 – has previously joked it was “weird” sharing the screen with the ‘Riverdale’ star.
She joked during a 2020 episode: “It’s so weird when you’re here because I just saw you at home.
“Ryan, I see all the time, of course, but I never leave him and then go to work and there he is.”

Orlando Bloom admits his relationship with fiancée Katy Perry can be “really, really, really challenging sometimes.”
The Hollywood actor has confessed that he and his future wife – who have two-year-old daughter Daisy Dove together – have to “battle with our emotions and creativity” because they are not always in the same head space.
Orlando, 46, explained in an interview with Flaunt magazine: “We’re in two very different pools.
“Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands.”
He continued: “Sometimes things are really, really, really, challenging. I won’t lie.
“We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity.”
The ‘Carnival Row’ star admits there is “never a dull moment” in their household and he’s grateful for their unique bond.
Orlando added: “I think we’re both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did, and there’s definitely never a dull moment.”
It comes after the pair were the subject of split rumours last year.
Katy quashed the rumours after she was spotted without her engagement ring and didn’t attend the Met Gala with her partner in May.
And she heaped praise on the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star for helping to ease her depression.
The ‘Firework’ hitmaker, 38, explained how the pair complement each other, as Orlando is always positive and she’s “more heady” and “prone to depression.”
Speaking on the ‘Dear Chelsea’ podcast, Katy said: “I always say when he walks into the room he has this joie de vivre to him and some people ask, ‘What is this guy on?’
“He’s just really got this happy, posi vibes and I’m a little bit more heady and prone to depression in some ways – and so it’s good for me to be around him because he gets me out of my head a little bit.”

Rebel Wilson claims her ‘Pitch Perfect’ contract prevented her from losing weight.
The 42-year-old actress played Fat Amy in the hit film franchise between 2012 and 2017, and Rebel claims that her contract stopped her from shedding weight.
She explained: “I couldn’t lose a massive amount of weight, because I was in the contracts for that movie.
“I think it’s not more than ten pounds [you can lose] and not gain more than ten pounds. You have to kind of stay at the weight that’s in your contract.”
Rebel embarked on a so-called year of health in 2020, as she made a determined effort to lose weight.
However, the Hollywood star had been thinking about adopting a healthier lifestyle for years.
Rebel – who ultimately managed to lose 60 pounds – told the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast: “I was stereotyped in playing that fat, funny friend. I love doing those roles, I love those characters, but then I did want to do more things. But then I felt like being the bigger girl, you’re just more pigeonholed.”
Meanwhile, Rebel recently revealed that she’s set to launch a dating app.
The actress – who is in a relationship with Ramona Agruma – is launching a new dating app named Fluid and Rebel explained how it relates to her own love life.
The movie star – who has a three-month-old baby called Royce, who was born via a surrogate – said: “This is the first dating app where you don’t have to actually define yourself or tick a box to say ‘I’m straight, I’m gay, I’m bisexual,’ and you don’t have to describe what you are looking for.”
Rebel is one of the app’s founders and she’s proud of its inclusive approach.
She shared: “What’s really cool is, it’s open to everyone.
“You might just be interested in checking out a wider dating pool like I was. It covers a lot of the LGBTQIA spectrum, but I think even if you’re straight you could use the app and have an amazing time.”

Ana de Armas finds it easy to relate to Marilyn Monroe.
The 34-year-old movie star portrayed Marilyn in ‘Blonde’, the Andrew Dominik-directed biographical film, and Ana has revealed that she sees some similarities between herself and the Hollywood icon.
She explained: “There was a lot there that I could relate to.
“If you put Marilyn Monroe the movie star aside, she’s just an actress trying to navigate life and this system, which is so hard to navigate for anybody. On top of that, you add this point of view of Andrew’s, which was to see that through her trauma.
“I truly thought it was going to do justice to a more dimensional human being, because I wouldn’t want to be remembered just for one thing. I am more than just an actress on the cover of a magazine.”
Ana believes that modern-day movie stars don’t compare to people like Marilyn.
The actress explained that social media has removed the sense of “mystery” that used to surround Hollywood stars.
Ana – who has also portrayed a Bond girl in ‘No Time to Die’ – told Vanity Fair magazine’s Hollywood issue: “I feel like the new generations don’t have that concept, because of social media. There is so much information out there and oversharing.
“The concept of a movie star is someone untouchable you only see onscreen. That mystery is gone. For the most part, we’ve done that to ourselves – nobody’s keeping anything from anyone anymore.”
What’s more, Ana revealed that she’s become “more protective” of herself since starring in ‘Blonde’.
She said: “The sad part for me – and the most challenging – is to see not only what happened in the ’40s and ’50s and ’60s but to see patterns continue to happen.
“It’s definitely made me more protective of myself and set boundaries and know my limits for how much I’m willing to give – and how much I want to keep to myself.
“But at the same time, it clearly is a place where incredible opportunities happen. I’m very grateful to be working in the industry.”
