The global crypto market fell 0.62 percent Monday morning, ending a sharp rise over the past week, mainly over the past two days, dragged down by losses in Bitcoin, Ethereum and other altcoins.
The global crypto market recovered on Monday, February 20, 2023 after an uptrend that lasted for several consecutive days as Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH) and other altcoins fell.
According to coinmarket.com as of 11:00 a.m. IST Monday, the market was at $1.12 trillion, down 0.62 percent from the previous day. Volume rose 51.96 percent over the past 24 hours to $63.07 billion.
The top trending crypto was Blur (BLUR), but the top gainer of the day was Stacks (STX), up 60.07 percent to $0.6812. Conversely, Render Token (RNDR) was the biggest loser, falling 7.34 percent to $1.71.

Bitcoin: BTC fell 1.36 percent to $24,443.83. Bitcoin briefly entered the green zone around 7:50 p.m. IST on February 19. It started falling at 5:50 am IST on Monday. Its price fell from $24,411 to $23,946 in the last 24 hours. However, the trading volume increased from $25.89 billion to $26.67 billion.
Ethereum: ETH price fell 0.60 percent to $1,689.15. ETH price briefly surged into the green at 7.50pm IST Sunday after trading in the red for a long time. After three hours it slipped back into the red. As of 9:55 p.m. IST on Sunday, the price fell from $1,718 to $1,673 over four hours. Trading volume increased from $5.96 billion to $6.55 billion.
The lowest price for ETH was $1,659.30. ETH trading volume increased by 49.91 percent to $7.7 billion.
Other Altcoins
Solana (SOL) rose 11.74 percent to $26.11.
In 24-hour trade, Ripple (XRP) price fell 0.63 percent to $0.3901, despite its trading volume increasing by 73.20 percent.
Cardano (ADA) is down 0.12 percent at $0.4026. After a 25.19 percent increase, the 24-hour trading volume reached $381 million.
Binance (BNB) is up 0.15 percent to $316. 24-hour trading volume rose 13.47 percent to $541.9 million.

Dogecoin fell 1.17 percent to $0.08773 and its 24-hour trading volume increased by 42.07 percent.
Shiba Inu was up 1.74 percent at $0.00001349.

Yearn.Finance (YFI) is down 0.86 percent even though its 24-hour trading volume is up 14.35 percent.
Avalanche (AVAX) is up 1.52 percent to $19.89 and its 24-hour trading volume is up 111 percent.
Aave (AAVE) traded at $89.99, down 0.73 percent.
