10 Palestinians killed, 102 injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, a total of 10 Palestinians were killed and 102 others injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
In a statement Wednesday, the ministry released the names of 10 victims, including an elderly man, a teenager and eight members of the Palestinian militant group known as the Lion’s Den.
In addition, 102 Palestinians, including three local journalists, were injured by Israeli soldiers during the four-hour clash in the Palestinian city, six of them in critical condition, the statement said.

Weeks after three workers were killed in a fire at Jindal Poly Films Ltd in Nashik district, police on Wednesday opened a case against seven people, including the facility’s owner, its manager and operator.
Twenty-two workers were also injured in the January 1 fire at the Mundhegaon company next to the Nashik-Mumbai National Road in Igatpuri Taluka.
A case of accidental death and fire was recorded in the matter at Ghoti Police Station and the investigation was ongoing. Now the police have registered a case against seven people, all linked to the facility hit by the fire and holding various posts in the unit.
A 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Tajikistan near the border with China on Thursday
A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck part of Tajikistan early Thursday near China’s western region of Xinjiang.
It was 67 kilometers (41 miles) west of Murghob, Tajikistan, and 20 kilometers (12 miles) deep, according to the US Geological Survey.
The area is remote and sparsely populated.
