Is now the time to get serious about Phase Five? On the back of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania turns out to be a total flop, we get some alarming news about next spring Captain America: New World Order from our new Sentinel of Liberty himself, Anthony Mackie. In the meantime, Wonder Fans have been pushed so far by the franchise’s recent failings that they actually prefer Sony’s Spider-Man villain universe to the tried and true MCU. We never thought we would see the day…

Anthony Mackie’s loose lips did little to reassure fans that all is well in Marvel land at this time of crisis. With the chaotic production of Quantumania It recently became clear that the Sam Wilson star may have revealed that the studio doesn’t learn from its mistakes. On the one hand, Captain America: New World Order officially begins filming in March… On the other hand, the lead actor hasn’t even looked at the script yet. Sure, Marvel likes to be secretive, but that’s still more than a little concerning for a franchise that seems to be in free fall right now.

We never thought we’d see the day, but Marvel fans are apparently so disappointed with what the House of Ideas has been serving up lately that they’ve officially switched to Sony, the studio that brought us disease. On top of the next entry in the live-action spider-verse that deserves hype levels way up ant man 3 On social media, fans are rightly suggesting that the MCU should take Sony’s playbook as a guide when formulating future films. There’s only one explanation here: Kang meddled with the timeline.

In addition to Eternal 2 Marvel finally seems to be getting the green light and seems to be moving forward with one Shang Chi follow too. Additionally, the latest information suggests that Simu Liu’s hero will encounter different variants of Jonathan Majors’ kang in the film. Who knows how this will play out, but bloodthirsty fans are hoping that next time around, Conqueror will actually show his skills and manage to defeat the protagonist, in contrast to his poor performance against Scott in Quantumania. No offense Shawn, but this is a time when people hope the hero doesn’t save the day.
