Injuries continue to take their toll on the Warriors, who have encountered a number of obstacles during their title defense.
Draymond Green, who has been mostly available this season, is the latest warrior to be handicapped after an apparent knee injury. While the injury seemed minor at first, further setbacks became a concern for Green, a key wheel in Golden State’s system.
Besides Green, Warriors who were not in the lineup include Stephen Curry (leg), Gary Payton II (abs), Andrew Wiggins (personal) and Andre Iguodala (hip).

What is Draymond Green’s injury?
In the third quarter of a loss to the Lakers on Thursday, Feb. 23, Green was hobbled after bumping knees with Lakers forward Jarred Vanderbilt. Green was a late scratch with what was decided on Friday February 24th a bruise in the right knee.

Green, who has appeared in 53 of Golden State’s first 61 games this season, is averaging 8.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest this season. The Warriors are 28-25 if Green passes.
How long will Draymond Green be out?
While Green was initially considered an everyday occurrence with the injury, things have taken a worrying turn.
Ahead of Golden State’s meeting with Minnesota on Sunday, Feb. 26, head coach Steve Kerr called that Green’s knee unexpectedly “flared up” and that he will undergo further tests, which will likely include an MRI.
