Receivers Jordan Addison and Quentin Johnston meet with Big Blue

The Giants had a formal interview with the Cincinnati Bearcats wide receiver Tyler Scott this week at the NFL Combine, according to a Report by USA Today’s Art Stapleton.
In his junior season with the Bearcats, the 5-foot-11-wideout had 899 yards on 54 receptions with nine touchdowns in 12 games. In the 2021 season, when Cincinnati made the college football playoffs, Scott rushed for 520 yards on 30 catches with five touchdowns in 14 games.
That makes at least three WRs that Big Blue spoke to this week in Indianapolis, USC Jordan Addison and TCUs Quentin Johnston

USC wide receiver Jordan Addison spoke to reporters at the NFL Combine on Friday and confirmed he had met with the Giants. Having played in Los Angeles during his college career, Addison believes he can make the transition to the big New York market.
“With all the lights and cameras I want to broadcast in New York, it wouldn’t be difficult for me to be successful in that environment,” Addison said.
After moving from Pitt before last season, the 6-foot receiver had 59 catches for 875 yards and eight touchdowns with USC.

TCU wide receiver Quentin Johnstona potential first-round pick, spoke to reporters at the NFL Combine on Friday and mentioned that he met with the Giants on Wednesday.
“Very friendly staff,” Johnston said. “I might see myself the same way I did when I was in high school.”
Johnston also said he would meet with the Giants again ahead of the draft.
The 6-foot-4 receiver hauled in 60 passes for 1,069 yards and six touchdowns for a TCU team that earned a berth in the college football playoffs last season. Johnston remains confident in his pre-draft abilities.
“I go from game to game and say, ‘I’m better than you,'” Johnston said. “I don’t want to be cocky, but that’s how I approach each piece.”
The Giants hold their 25th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

LSU Defense End BJ Ojularia potential first-round pick, spoke Wednesday at the NFL Combine about the possibility of playing with his older brother, the Giants’ outside linebacker Azez Ojulariand said that being on the same team would be “a blessing”.
“We always talked about it,” said Ojulari. “When he went to college he wanted me to play with him, but I took a different path. So that, I don’t have the power to choose that. So if I get together with him I think it will be a blessing too to be able to play with my brother again and to be dominating on the other end of the ball from him.”
Ojulari went on to say that he had a formal interview with New York that went “very well,” and of course his older brother sent him some tips on what to expect in the interview.
“Yes sir, I had a formal one [interview] and I think the formal went very well,” said Ojulari. “It was a great feeling walking out of this room after that formal interview.”
The 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end added that his older brother has been a mentor to him throughout their playing career and explained the differences between their playing styles.
“He’s a big influence on me, he’s like a mentor to me,” said Ojulari. “He’s playing for the Giants right now. I lean on him a lot. He’s gone through the same process, he’s at the level I want to reach. Anything I can ask him, I will ask him. “
Ojulari added: “I think we have some similarities but I don’t think we play the same. I have a slightly different playstyle… I think I’m more of a finesse playstyle and it’s flashier, more like a bulldozer and I’m more of a foodie.”
