The Latest On Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Royal Eviction Drama: ‘There’s Been A Bit Of Blowback
In view of the forthcoming coronation of King Charles III. there was a lot of talk about it whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend the ceremony, as well as rumors of the couple’s eviction from Frogmore Cottage, leading people to believe that this might be the case closer to “exile” from the family. However, this news caused “a bit of a backlash,” a source explained recently, and now it appears the Duke of Sussex’s father is offering him and Markle an olive branch of sorts.
Why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were evicted
While the decision to evict Prince Harry and Meghan Markle isn’t officially tied to the release of the Duke of Sussex’s memoir spare partit happened shortly after the publication of the book.
The couple received word on March 1 that they had to “vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage,” per Fox Newsand the report states that the eviction process began on January 11th. spare part was released on January 10th. It has been reported time and time again that King Charles and the royal family are not happy with that allegations and revelations in spare part. While Prince Harry took back his tale With the book, not only did it negatively impact his and Meghan’s popularity, but theirs as well public opinion of William and Kate. The revealing book made waves and it seems the royal family isn’t happy about it.
So when this news broke, it made sense that people assumed it was related spare part and everything said in both the book and their documentaries Harry & Megan. There’s more to this story though, as it’s not just the throwback of news of the eviction, the King has also figured out where to take his disgraced brother Prince Andrew. Now it looks like everything is faltering and after the couple have moved out of Frogmore Cottage, the pair will reportedly be getting a new flat at Buckingham Palace.
Why there was “a bit of backlash” in the decision and what might happen next
After news that the couple would be evicted from Frogmore Cottage, King Charles III seems ready to give them a new home. According to Christopher Anderson, the author of The king, the king could offer Meghan and Harry an apartment at Buckingham Palace, Fox News reported. The article explained that if the king makes this offer, it would be a peace offering to his youngest son before the coronation, having denounced criticism of the decision to evict them. Anderson explained why King Charles would make this decision, noting the “backlash” that came after the decision to evict Harry and Meghan became public.
While this offer would serve as a peace offering in these turbulent times for the royal family, another expert, Shannon Felton Spence, stated that offering his son safe housing was only realistic, stating:
Based on the reported dates when the eviction process started, it seems so spare part had something to do with it. However, Felton Spence said the offer to move Harry and Meghan to Buckingham Palace was “not a diss”. Prince Andrew is set to move to Frogmore Cottage, which is a reduction from his last home at the Royal Lodge, nor will he need a place at Buckingham Palace. The royal expert explained that Andrew’s move to Frogmore actually “downgraded” his living situation and that Harry and Meghan being taken to Buckingham Palace would be something they would likely want.
Meghan and Harry’s eviction is clearly an incredibly complex situation, and it seems that Prince Andrew also has a pretty big part to play in the King’s decision. While Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the rest of the family is certainly strained, if this account of their move to Buckingham Palace is true, it seems like the royal is reacting to the backlash and trying to make peace with his youngest child true .
It has also been confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been officially invited to the coronation. We don’t know if they will travel to the UK for the ceremony or stay in California, but if they decide to attend, they likely will don’t sit with the royal family.
