Arsenal star Bukayo Saka facetimes Kim Kardashian and her family after they watched the Gunners’ UEL game against Sporting CP

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka surprised none other than Kim Kardashian’s son on her recent visit to London. The American reality TV personality took part in the Gunners’ Europa League clash with Sporting Lisbon.

The next day, she took to Instagram to reveal that Saka, who was present during the game, was friendly to her son Saint FaceTime. The seven-year-old is an avid Arsenal fan and was unable to meet the talented Englishman in person at the Emirates Stadium.

Despite Arsenal’s dramatic penalty shootout loss to Sporting, Saka remained in high spirits chatting with Saint:

He also explained:

“Tell them to let me know when they’re coming back and we’ll sort out some shirts for them.”

Kardashian then shared another Instagram story, explaining that the surprises with Dele Alli kept coming. Although the 26-year-old is currently on loan at Istanbul’s Besiktas, he was spotted in London happily posing for photos with Saint and three other ecstatic children.

Arsenal could lose morale after losing to Sporting in the Europa League

Arsenal’s exit from Europe may have been sealed, but the true implications of this setback may not be fully understood for some time. During the game against Sporting, the Gunners suffered double injury damage with the loss of William Saliba and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

The reaction of Mikel Arteta’s men to that heartbreaking defeat will be crucial as a disheartening Premier League showdown against Crystal Palace fast looms. Somehow they have to dust themselves off and fight on, or they risk losing their domestic aspirations at such a critical juncture in the campaign.

The Gunners will look back on this game with great disappointment. Despite an early lead from Granit Xhaka, they failed to finish the game and ultimately paid the price.

Pedro Goncalves’ stunning equalizer was well deserved and heroic effort from Sporting goalkeeper Antonio Adan was enough. He made a number of great saves in extra time before falling to Gabriel Martinelli in the decisive penalty shoot-out.
