“You’re going to get a lot of backlash”: She had to explain the hairstyle during the show’s reunion, when Andy Cohen pinned them if they were “culturally appropriate.”

The thorny conversation began when Andy noticed that Larsa wore box braids during a recent cast trip to the Bahamas.

“Fashionably you can pull it off, but do you think it’s really culturally appropriate?” he asked. “I think you’re going to get a lot of backlash.”

Larsa pointed out that she is “not white” and revealed that her children get their hair professionally braided “every 10 days” by a woman who comes to their house.

She added that her and Scottie’s son Justin, 18, now have braids and claimed he’s been wearing them “literally for four years.”

When the woman who braids her children’s hair comes by and says, “I’m going on a trip, I don’t want to have to worry about my hair, I’ll let her braid my hair,” Larsa said.

“My grandparents are Moroccan. My mother had pigtails as a child. For as long as I can remember, I’ve braided my hair every time I go on vacation.”

Larsa continued: “My honeymoon pictures, my hair was braided. When I was 18, my hair was braided. I always wore pigtails when I traveled.”

Meanwhile, Kiki’s train of thought was: “I think everyone should rock what they want. As long as it suits you I think we should just take it.”

During the course of the reunion, Larsa also addressed her controversial romance with Michael Jordan’s dashing son, Marcus, 32.

When the relationship began late last year, Larsa’s ex-husband had a falling out with Marcus’ father, his former teammate.

In late November, Larsa was attending a Chargers game with Marcus when she was scolded by a basketball fan who sniffed, “Hey Larsa, are you doing this? You with the boy, mike’s son? You’re a cold mother, aren’t you?’

Michael and Scottie were legendary teammates with the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s, but their personal tensions were brought to light in recent docu-series The Last Dance.

Adding fuel to the fire, Scottie slammed his performance on the show, grumbling that he was “nothing more than a prop.”

Scottie further claimed that Michael only did The Last Dance to show the world he’s “still bigger than LeBron James,” who some basketball fans have led to dub “the GOAT (Greatest of All Time).” .

During the recent Real Housewives Of Miami reunion, Larsa shared that she would indeed take Marcus’ last name if their romance took them down the aisle.

She and Marcus aren’t engaged at the moment, but she would definitely change my last name for whoever I got married, that’s for sure.
