Kate Bosworth ‘engaged to Justin Long’ after sporting diamond at Oscars
Kate Bosworth and Justin Long are reportedly engaged after a year of dating.
The 21-year-old actress, 40, and the Tusk actor, 44, were first linked in March 2022 and have been inseparable ever since, sharing adorable glimpses of their romance on social media.
They have reportedly taken their relationship to the next level and are now ready to tie the knot.
“Kate is on cloud nine right now,” said an insider. “She shows friends her engagement ring.
“She’s shy about details, but she shines.”
“Everyone’s happy for her,” they added to People magazine. “Justin is a great guy. He adores her. It’s just incredible to see them together.”
Another insider previously told the outlet, “Kate is just the happiest. Justin is a great guy.
“She can’t wait to marry him. They are very cute together. Kate has this amazing energy around Justin. She just shines.”
The lovebirds have yet to address the speculation publicly, but got the rumor mill going earlier this month when they rocked out to the Vanity Fair Oscars party together.
Kate beamed as she posed alongside the dodgeball actor while wearing a huge diamond ring on her engagement finger.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the snaps shared on her Instagram page, flooding the comments section with questions about her new bling.
A curious follower asked: “Miss Bosworth, is that a special ring on your finger?”
One Instagram user simply wrote: “Hello! 💍!!!!’
“Very interesting ring on that old important ring finger,” agreed another.
As one fan asked: “Lovely couple. Beautiful ring! Committed?’
Remarkably, Kate still wore the diamond in her post showing her antics the next day.
The pair were first spotted together in LA last March, and cemented their romance when they were later kissed on a loved-up trip to Hawaii.
Justin, who previously dated Drew Barrymore, got hearts racing in January when he posted a tribute to Kate in celebration of her 40th birthday.
Posting a series of adorable photos, he began, “She’s 40! She’s also the best part of my day, every day – even when we’re not together. She laughs with abandon. She always makes me laugh. She sees beauty everywhere and in everyone.
“She thanks everyone – even when she’s suffering, she’s kind. She was grateful to the nurses while in real pain. She is deeply compassionate and cannot hurt anyone, but she can be a rascal. She loves to tease. She has the best softest lips I’ve ever kissed. She loves beer and soccer more than me (and I love beer and soccer).
“She’s the strongest person I’ve ever known. She is vehemently committed to the truth. It’s so much fun working with her. It is the most fun to do everything with her. “She strives to be better, but she’s the best person I know. She would do anything for her friends. She is so generous that it makes my parents a little awkward over the holidays (she also makes the best cookies).
“She’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. She’s just good. She will stand up to anyone who isn’t. She has true integrity and determination. She has by far my favorite smile.
