Six other wide receivers switch teams in the NFL free agency

One position where we’ve seen some significant moves in National Football League free agency so far is wide receiver. Receivers who have switched teams so far include Mecole Herdman, Trent Sherfield, Adam Thielen, Allen Lazard, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Jakobi Meyers and Robert Woods. Here are six other wide receivers who switched teams in free agency in the past week.


Nelson Agholor-Baltimore Ravens

Agholor, from Lagos, Nigeria, signed a one-year deal worth $3.25 million, according to spotrac.com on Friday. In 2022, he had 31 catches for 362 yards and two touchdowns. The Ravens are Agholor’s fourth NFL franchise after the Philadelphia Eagles (2015-2019). the Las Vegas Raiders (2020) and the New England Patriots (2021 and 2022). Agholor won the Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018.


Marquez Callaway-Denver Broncos

Callaway, a native of Warner Robins, Georgia, played the last three seasons with the New Orleans Saints. In 2023, he had 16 catches for 158 yards and one touchdown. During 42 NFL games with the Saints, he had 83 catches for 1,069 yards and seven touchdowns.


DJ Chark – Carolina Panthers

Chark, from Alexandria, Louisiana, signed a one-year contract with the Carolina Panthers. In 2022, he had 30 catches for 502 yards and three touchdowns with the Detroit Lions. Prior to his season with the Lions, Chark spent four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2018-2021 and was selected to the 2019 Pro Bowl after setting career-highs in catches (73), yards (1,008) and touchdown catches (eight ).


Jamison Crowder-New York Giants

Crowder, from Monroe, North Carolina, signed a one-year contract with the New York Giants. The Giants are Crowder’s fourth team after four seasons with Washington (2015-2018), three seasons with the New York Jets (2019-2021) and one season with the Bills. Marquise Goodwin-Cleveland Browns

Goodwin, of Lubbock, Texas, signed a one-year contract with the Cleveland Browns on Friday. He is entering his fifth NFL franchise after four seasons with the Buffalo Bills (2013-2016), three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers (2017-2019), and one season each with the Chicago Bears (2021) and Seattle Seahawks (2022). at ).
