What channel is FAU vs. Kansas State on today? Time, TV schedule to watch March Madness Elite Eight game

When the brackets for the NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament were unveiled, there were probably not too many fans who would have predicted a matchup between Florida Atlantic and Kansas State to decide who advances to the Final Four.

The eastern region seemed overloaded with strong teams, particularly with several Blue Blood programs. Purdue was #1 on The Sporting News’ Player of the Year. No. 5 Duke drove a lot of momentum and was full of young talent. No. 4 Tennessee boasted one of the best defenses in the nation. No. 6 Kentucky is always a force to be reckoned with in March.

Gradually, each team dropped out. Purdue became the second seedling to lose in the first round, and Florida Atlantic defeated No. 16 Fairleigh Dickinson to advance to the Sweet Sixteen after a narrow win over No. 8 Memphis. The owls then stunned the volunteers to stamp their ticket into the Elite Eight.

Kansas State earned the six-point win over Kentucky before putting Tom Izzo’s Spartans into overtime where a great performance from Markquis Nowell, who included an NCAA tournament-record 19 in a double-doubles performance.

The Wildcats will seek only their fifth appearance in the Final Four, while the Owls, who won their first-ever tournament game in the first round, aim to continue setting the program’s record for longest travel within the tournament.
