Sporting KC Weekly Schedule: March 27 – April 2, 2023

Sporting Kansas City will return to the streets at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday to take on MLS Cup runners-up Philadelphia Union when the club travels to Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania for the first time since 2018.

The multi-conference matchup begins at 6:39 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on Apple TV in both English and Spanish for MLS Season Pass subscribers, with pre-game programming beginning at 6:10 p.m. CT. Saturday’s showdown will be shown in each of the club’s affiliated pubs on the Sporting Pub Network and radio coverage will also be broadcast locally in English on ESPN 94.5 FM and 1510 AM and in Spanish on La Grande 1340 AM, with streams available on the Sporting are KC app.

AUVRAY TARGETS AFTER GOLD CUP BERTH

Sporting KC Academy midfielder Kaile Auvray started for the Trinidad and Tobago men’s national team in Friday’s 3-0 win against the Bahamas. The 18-year-old is available for selection tonight at 7pm CT at Dwight Stadium when the nation of Nicaragua hosts Yorke Stadium in the deciding game of Group C of the Concacaf Nations League B. Auvray, son of former Sporting KC midfielder Stephane Auvray (2010 -11), joined Sporting KC Academy in January and participated in the pre-season at Sporting KC II before joining Trinidad & Tobago.

TZIONIS AND CYPRUS VS ARMENIA ON TUESDAY

Sporting KC striker Marinos Tzionis joined the Cyprus men’s national team for UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying and earned his 21st cap of his career as a second-half substitute against Scotland on Saturday. Cyprus will next play Armenia in an international friendly at 10am CT on Tuesday.

SJvSKC EXTENSION TICKET REQUESTS CLOSES SATURDAY

Sporting Kansas City season pass members and members of Sporting Kansas City fan groups are eligible for complimentary tickets to Sporting away games. Applications for SJvSKC on April 15 close on Saturday and applications are also possible for NEvSKC on April 22 and SEAvSKC on May 7. Applications close two weeks before the game or once the allocation of away supporter tickets is reached.

ACADEMY IN ACTION AT THE GENERATION ADIDAS CUP

The Sporting KC Academy U-15 and U-17 players will compete in the Generation adidas Cup this weekend at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The U-15 national team plays Spanish club Valencia at 11:30 CT on Saturday before taking on the Philadelphia Union at 10:00 CT on Sunday. The U-17s meet Charlotte FC at 2:30 pm CT on Saturday, followed by a match-up with Mexican club Atlas at 2:00 pm CT on Sunday. Additionally, the Sporting KC Academy U-14 players will continue the 2022-23 MLS NEXT season this weekend with a home game against the Houston Dynamo on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. CT at the Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City, Missouri. SPORTING KC II HOME OPENER ON SUNDAY

Sporting KC II will host the team’s 2023 MLS NEXT Pro home opener against Austin FC II on Sunday at 3 p.m. CT at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kansas.
