Manchester United transfer news LIVE Man Utd takeover latest and early FA Cup Final team news

Manchester United will be without striker Anthony Martial in their upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester City as he is injured.

United travel to Wembley this weekend for a Manchester derby against City in the home of football. Erik ten Hag’s side are aiming to end their season with a second title to complement their third-place finish in the Premier League and the return of Champions League football to Old Trafford next season.

But United have been without the 27-year-old’s services after the club confirmed he will miss the Wembley tournament due to a hamstring injury. This continued in the final stages of last weekend’s 2-1 win over Fulham at Old Trafford.

That leaves Ten Hag with the question of who will take the lead for United at Wembley. Marcus Rashford and Wout Weghorst are the two remaining fit options in this area.

Neymar wants to join United ‘only this summer’

Reportedly, Neymar won’t consider leaving Paris Saint-Germain for United until the summer.

The Sun claim the Brazilian striker, whose current contract has four years left, will only accept a move to Old Trafford.

It is believed that Neymar’s difficult relationship with PSG fans, coupled with injuries and his age, have led the club to look to sell him in the summer.

Spurs star’s Kane transfer claim

It’s no secret that Manchester United are interested in signing Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur to Old Trafford this summer.

United have made Kane a priority but expect Spurs won’t approve a sale and are working on alternatives. They don’t want to be dragged into a long summer saga and realistically Kane could be pushing for a move to facilitate a transfer.

Kane, who has 12 months left on his current contract, may face a pause in European football next season after Tottenham finished eighth in the Premier League.

His Spurs teammate Emerson Royal has given his verdict on Kane’s future and here’s what he had to say.
