Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest live results: Tracking the 2023 winners, total hot dogs for men & women competitions
The fireworks don’t start until after the sun goes down, but the stars will come out early in the Big Apple.
Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo return to the Coney Island stage on America’s Most Patriotic Day and enjoy American cuisine – American-sized portions.
It’s the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on the famous corner of Surf and Stillwell where thousands gather every July 4th to watch the Major League Eating event. Sudo returned to form in 2022 after being sidelined for a year due to pregnancy. She didn’t show it and reclaimed her title again by inhaling 40 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.

For men, Chestnut has recovered from a leg injury that disabled him in 2022. To be honest, it was a disappointing performance by his standards – he only managed 63 hot dogs and buns. That was the end of a record-breaking 2021 as Chestnut set a new record of 76 in just 10 minutes.
The Reds, Whites, and Blues have created a winning dynasty at the dinner table, so it’s no surprise that the Stars and Stripes will continue their dominance into 2023.
As usual, there are no toppings – just some water and the will to win. The mustard belt is at stake and possibly a partnership with Pepto Bismol. May the biggest appetite win.
