Princess Ciri of Cintra’s singing debut
Thursday, July 28, 7pm – Princess Ciri sings
Witcher fans can now get the official season three soundtrack, which features Princess Ciri of Cintra’s singing debut.
Composer Joseph Trapanese’s expansive soundscape features the previously-released tracks from the first-half of season three, as well as 25 new songs, created in collaboration with folk metal act Percival Schuttenbach on some tracks.
Not only does the official soundtrack feature melodic tunes from the bard Jaskier (Joey Batey), but Freya Allen lands her ethereal vocals to a track by Princess Ciri of Cintra. Cast member Nathan Armarkwei (Valdo Marx) contributes vocals to one track as well.

The team behind The Witcher have unveiled a collection of medallions from the show, much like the ones worn by Geralt, Vesemir and Yennefer. These medallions are made from Alluminum Alloy and feature the wolf insignias common to Geralt’s clan.
In the lore of The Witcher, these medallions are a symbol of legitimacy for witchers and can protect the wearer from magical spells. While the replicas don’t actually have those abilities, they’d make a great addition to the wardrobe for aspiring witchers.

Thursday July 27, 4pm – Princess Ciri’s new friend
The Witcher season three part two spoilers follow.
There’s a new character featuring in the second instalment of season three, and it’s one that holds great significance for Ciri.
The princess stumbles upon a majestic white unicorn during her desert adventure – and no she’s not hallucinating.
“I don’t feel so good, Little Horse,” she says, before holding out a hand to pet her new pal. The unicorn trots away, with Ciri pursuing him.
It’s a moment that fans of the books will be familiar with, as second novel Time of Contempt features a meeting between Ciri and Ihuarraquax (aka Little Horse) in the Korath desert.
Actress Freya Allan enjoyed filming the sequence, telling Tudum: “I love horses. I did some practice with the horse and laid out in the desert with it.”
“It’s such an iconic moment in Ciri’s journey, it’s such a pivotal point,” she continued. “It’s actually one of the most important journeys I’ve had with the character.”
Allan credits the scene as making Ciri grow up and not a moment too soon, as her desert chapter won’t be without challenges.

Thursday July 27, 3pm – Will there be any more seasons of The Witcher?
It’s good news for The Witcher fans.
Alongside the appointment of Liam Hemwsorth as Geralt (announced in October 2022), came confirmation of The Witcher season four. But that’s not all.
Fast-forward to May this year and The Witcher‘s casting director Sophie Holland revealed a fifth season was happening too.
Details remain limited on what we can expect from a fourth and fifth season, but more confirmed adventures with Geralt, Yennifer and co is certainly an exciting prospect for viewers.
That’s not all to come from The Witcher universe, though.
December 2022 saw the arrival of The Witcher: Blood Origin on Netflix, a four-part series that acted as a prequel to the main series.
Steve Gaub, executive producer on The Witcher‘s third season, told Digital Spy in June that more spin-offs could be in the works in the future.
“We like the concept of what we’re doing with Blood Origin where it’s a limited series that has a sort of great opportunity to fill in blanks, and to enrichen the depth of our storytelling,” he told us.
“Blood Origin – I mean, it’s in the name. But it’s to tell origin stories within a limited series that you don’t feel you have the weight of an entirely different series.”
The Witcher universe also has an animated film called Nightmare of the Wolf – and its sequel has already been confirmed. Then there’s the family-friendly animated series which is currently underway too.

Thursday July 27, 2pm – Radovid actor Hugh Skinner shares hopes for Jaskier romance
The Witcher season three part one spoilers follow.
We thought their time was coming. But alas, a cruel twist in the first few episodes of The Witcher season three meant an even longer wait for an anticipated Radovid and Jaskier romance.
Fans were left heartbroken for Radovid, who upon his brother King Vizimir’s death, now finds himself forced into Kingship. Just when we thought he and Jaskier were going to finally get together.
“He finally meets the love of his life, and then he’s sucked right back in,” Skinner told Digital Spy of his character’s reaction. “I think he’s absolutely terrified and totally gutted.”
It seems the cast are just as clueless as fans with regards to the prospect of Radovid and Jaskier’s love story seeing the light of day.
“I have no idea. I have no idea what happens,” the actor replied.
That being said, Skinner shared that he’d like to see the pair end up together at some point and happily so.

Thursday July 27, 1pm – Liam Hemsworth takeover
The Witcher bosses certainly had their work cut out casting their new Geralt after Cavill’s departure. But October 2022 brought the news that Liam Hemsworth would be continuing the role in The Witcher season 4.
Hemsworth is best known for playing Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games franchise and for his breakout role in 2010’s The Last Song, where he starred alongside Miley Cyrus.
The two dated on and off for several years after and tied the knot in December 2018, but divorced a year later.
Following the release of the latest episodes, fans have a bit of a wait to see Hemsworth’s Geralt when he joins the Witcher season four cast.
Casting director Sophie Holland told Deadline in May: “We’re just about to start filming on season four with Liam Hemsworth. There will be a short gap then we go straight into season five.”
This was, however, reported months before the actors’ strike, which began in July. The production of many shows has come to a grinding halt since the strikes, though it remains to be confirmed if The Witcher is one of them.

Thursday July 27, midday – Final episode names and logos revealed
The Witcher has confirmed the titles and emblems for the final three episodes in season three part two.
“Volume 2 coming in hotter than the Korath desert sun,” reads the post caption from The Witcher‘s official Instagram account, alongside three images.
Episode 6: ‘Everybody Has a Plan ’til They Get Punched in the Face’
Episode 7: ‘Out of the Fire, Into the Frying Pan’
Episode 8: ‘The Cost of Chaos’
Interestingly, episode six’s title is a quote from boxer Mike Tyson, who said the words before fighting Evander Holyfield in the ring.
We believe the symbol for episode 6 is of Tor Lara (aka the tower Ciri enters, connects with and then uses her powers to accidentally enter another dimension).
The second emblem clearly depicts Little Horse, the unicorn audiences will meet in episode 7.
As for episode 8’s logo, we think it’s a combination of Geralt’s White Wolf, Yennefer’s symbol and Ciri’s swallow.
“They are all on separate paths at the end, so maybe that’s what this is about,” says Digital Spy‘s TV writer Janet Leigh.
Fans got a taste of what’s to come in the final three episodes thanks to The Witcher season three part two trailer, which dropped on Monday (July 24).
The trailer teased an epic showdown between Geralt and the series’ villain, with a gruff Geralt declaring: “I will make them pay”. Will he be victorious?

Thursday July 27, 11am – Cavill’s top 10 Geralt moments
We’ll be the first to admit we could watch Henry Cavill as Geralt forever – but sadly his tenure as The Witcher lead is coming to an end in season three part two.
But before we bid him adieu, it’s only right we give Cavill a worthy send off.
From his on-screen romps, to his biggest and best kills – and the rare occasion he decides to show some humour – we’ve compiled our top 10 Geralt moments.
And yes, his topless bath scene from season one obviously made the cut.
Actor Liam Hemsworth is only too aware of the large shoes he has to fill in The Witcher season four. When announced as Cavill’s replacement back in October last year, he praised the Man of Steel star’s performance.
“Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I’m honoured that he’s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf’s blades for the next chapter of his adventure.
“Henry, I’ve been a fan of yours for years and was inspired by what you brought to this beloved character. I may have some big boots to fill, but I’m truly excited to be stepping into The Witcher world.”

Thursday July 27, 10am – Cast and set secrets
We’re holding back on The Witcher spoilers for now, so you can enjoy the newly released season three part two episodes in all it’s glory.
It’s no surprise that fans of the franchise are just as obsessed with the cast as they are with the Netflix show, so with this in mind we’ve shared some of our favourite The Witcher fun facts, about the actors and behind-the-scenes process.
1. Triss (Anna Shaffer) and Sabrina (Therica Wilson-Read) are both in a cast WhatsApp group with newer witches. The best part? It’s called ‘Chaos’ with a flamed red love heart emoji.
2. The Witcher‘s Master Armourer Nick Jeffries revealed that one prop has a hidden nickname written on it. Dwarf Yarpen Zigrin has a knife that doubles up as a pair of shears with testicle tickler’ in Elvish discreetly engraved on the inside the blades.
3. Tut tut! Joey Batey (aka Jaskier) got told off for taking something from set after season two. Costume Designer Lucinda Wright revealed Batey admitted to nicking his necklace during the series two premiere. Nevertheless, he was politely asked to return it.

Thursday July 27, 9am – Vilgefortz actor Mahesh Jadu reveals character’s ‘silent strength’
There’s plenty of power play on screen in The Witcher and actor Mahesh Jadu is one cast member who knows a thing or two about bringing a big ego to life.
Chatting to Digital Spy, Jadu shared how viewers should focus on his character’s smaller actions which often say more than you think.
“Sometimes it’s better that your enemy thinks that you are weak when you’ve got strength, and they think you’re strong when you are weak,” he tells us. “Just staying still and quiet, and smiling, and all of that — it’s not a show of weakness, but a show of silence.”
Audiences are expected to see more of Vilgefortz in season three part two, following on from an explosive episode five, that opened many viewers’ eyes on Jadu’s character and his true intentions.
The actor had previously received advice from co-star Joey Batey to read the books to get a sense of his character’s journey on the show. And thankfully Jadu did.
“There was a lot of absence in the book. Vilgefortz just wasn’t there. But the result of his actions was there,” he explained.

Thursday July 27, 8am – Behind-the-scenes of The Witcher season 3
Ever wondered where Henry Cavill and the rest of The Witcher cast film the series and what hard work goes into pulling off the hit Netflix production?
Digital Spy‘s Editor in Chief Laurence Mozafari was invited to an exclusive set visit during season 3 filming, travelling to an undisclosed studio location that’s not too far away from theme park Thorpe Park.
As expected, the hair and make-up departments were large-scale, with a fair few stunt performers on hand to help Cavill kick-ass.
Talking of stunts, show bosses shared a preference for practical effects over CGI in season 3 (much to the audience’s delight). And there’s plenty more magic to come in part two, which drops on Netflix today.
One of the team’s biggest challenges when filming the latest series? A certain beast which The Witcher‘s Head of Franchise Design, Andrew Laws, teased was the ‘hardest monster’ they’ve made to date. Think prosthetics coupled with VFX and creature concept design to help bring it to life. You’ll have to tune in to the last few episodes to see exactly which one they’re talking about…

Thursday July 27, 7am — So, how did The Witcher season 3 part 2 pick up from the part one cliffhanger?
It’s the day The Witcher fans have been waiting for — and a bittersweet one at that, as the release of season three part two marks Henry Cavill’s final outing as Geralt of Rivia.
The Superman star brought Andrzej Sapkowski’s protagonist to life in the hit Netflix series, giving us murder, moody glares and, of course, muscles (three things his successor Liam Hemsworth better swat up on).
But before we say goodbye, we thought we’d get your Witcher viewing off to a good start with a refresher on that Vilgefortz twist in the season three part one finale.
First things first: Vilgefortz is a baddie who’s secretly working for Nilfgaard. Not a huge shock to those who’ve read the books, but the revelation certainly rocked some Netflix viewers to the core.
Vilgefortz wants Ciri — currently being kept hidden away in Aretuza — because of her powers. Meanwhile, Yennefer is still tracking Tissaia, fearing for her safety (and for good reason). Then there’s our main man Geralt, who was last seen with a knife at his neck in the part one finale. How’s he going to get out of that one?
