MrBeast breaks ANOTHER YouTube record with latest video as he hits out at fan criticism

American YouTuber MrBeast claims to have broken yet another YouTube record with his latest video ‘7 Days Stranded At Sea’.

The YouTube star, who’s actual name is Jimmy Donaldson, is one of the very few people who have more than 100 million subscribers on the platform – he has 174 million as of right now.

At just 25, MrBeast is already the world’s richest YouTuber, with an estimated net worth of more than $500million.

Today, he took to Twitter to claim his newest video has broken the YouTube record for most views in 24 hours on a non music video – though it’s yet to be officially confirmed.

In a tweet addressing his fans, he wrote:

‘New video broke the world record for most views in 24 hours on a non music video! I’m living the life I would dream of every night when I was 13.. 

‘I love all of you and thank you so much for watching our videos!!! I’ll never take you all for granted.’

Underneath the tweet, he added: ‘Also, I don’t ever want to hear I only get view’s because I give away money. We broke the world record with me and my friends suffering and cracking jokes lol.’

This is because a lot of his YouTube videos feature him giving away money either to strangers or his friends.

In one of his recent viral videos, he recreated the Netflix series Squid Game to give someone the chance to win $456,000. 

This became the fastest non-music video to reach 100 million views.

In another, titled ‘Ages 1 – 100 Fight For $500,000’ he gave 100 people the chance to win a whopping half a million pounds.

However, this time he wanted to make it clear there was no money element to this record-breaking video. 

The video in question features the YouTuber and four of his friends, purposely getting themselves stranded on a raft in the middle of the ocean for a week.

In it’s dramatic opening, he says ‘We are now stranded on a raft in the middle of the Ocean and there goes our boat.’

‘We are now stranded for seven days.

‘This raft is literally countless miles from the nearest civilisation and whether we like it or not, my four friends and I are stuck on this raft and it’s not gonna be easy. 

The 25-year-old millionaire had survival specialists equip the raft with rope, wood and everything else they would need to build themselves a shelter. 

They were also left with a crate of food and a water supply to last them for a week – they built themselves a structure to sleep under and even had a go at catching their own fish to eat.

Near the end of the video, it began to get dramatic as the group got caught in a storm, and one of the members got stung by a jellyfish.

The video already has over 77,000 views and it was posted two days ago – it also has 4 million likes and 90,000 comments.

This comes after MrBeast’s Burger ghost kitchen, Virtual Dining Concepts, has filed a $100million lawsuit against the YouTuber.

MrBeast Burger is an American virtual restaurant founded and developed by himself.

However, he sued the company he partnered with for allegedly selling undercooked meals that have damaged his reputation.

Now, they have slapped back with a $100 million lawsuit, obtained by Variety.
