On the other hand, Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan spent time with her mother Reena Dutta. Sharing a picture with her from her visit to the restaurant, she captioned her Instagram Stories, “Love you mom.”

In November last year, Aamir hosted Ira’s engagement party in Mumbai when she got engaged to boyfriend and fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare. Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao, Azad and Aamir’s nephew and former actor Imran Khan and his mother and daughter were part of the intimate ceremony. Aamir and cousin Mansoor Khan also danced to the song Papa Kahte Hain from their 1988 film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha which hit theaters in August last year. It was released after a long delay and received positive to mixed reviews from critics and at the ticket offices. It also starred Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh.

After the film underperformed at the box office, an apology video appeared on his production house’s Twitter page. A voice was heard in the sound: “Hum sab insaan hai, Aur giltiya insaan se hoti hai (we are all human and only humans make mistakes). Sometimes through our words and sometimes through our actions, sometimes we do it without knowing it and sometimes when we’re angry. We also hurt people with our jokes and sometimes even when we don’t talk. If I have ever hurt your feelings in any way, then I ask your forgiveness with my heart, my promise and my being.”
