  • The win adds to Integra’s impressive list of achievements, including North American Car of the Year™
  • With its sporty design, engaging driving experience, versatile package and premium features, Integra has quickly become the best-selling model in its segment

The 2023 Acura Integra was named the best sports sedan of 2023 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Awards. The recognition highlights the Integra’s sporty design, engaging driving experience, versatile package and premium features.

In its 42nd year MotorWeek‘s annual Drivers’ Choice Awards look at vehicles from a buyer’s perspective to include trends, innovation, value and reliability. Their goal is to create a winners list that reflects the perspective of both automotive experts and consumers and can be used as a practical guide to car buying.

“While the original Acura Integra did much to reinforce the brand’s reputation for being driver-centric, this all-new experimental leap sparked our desire to hit the open road just for the fun of it,” said John Davis, presenter and creator of MotorWeek. “A true sports sedan in every way, it even adds spice to the daily commute, while combined with affordable prices it has enough practicality to appeal to a wider clientele that simply needs a great all-round car.”

The next-generation Integra, Acura’s new performance gateway and North American Car of the Year™, completes Acura’s return to precision crafted performance with 200 horsepower and the only manual transmission available in its class. It has quickly become the best-selling model in the premium sports compact segment and has the highest proportion of buyers under the age of 35 in its class.

Engineered for a new generation of driving enthusiasts, the 2023 Acura Integra features an award-winning, high-performance turbocharged engine, ultra-rigid body structure and sport-tuned chassis for an exhilarating driving experience. Perfect for a young, active lifestyle, Integra also features the only 5-door liftback body in its class, for a large and flexible cargo space and superior rear seat legroom, with a sleek coupé-like profile and sporty stance. A multitude of new safety, driver assistance and connected car technologies are standard. Integra also received the highest safety performance rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

The 2023 Integra is the first American-built Integra with production in Marysville, Ohio1, in the same vein as the Acura TLX. Integra’s turbocharged 1.5L engine is manufactured exclusively at the Anna Engine Plant in Ohio.

This summer, the Integra range is strengthened with the arrival of the high-performance Integra Type S. The Integra Type S 2024 is powered by a high-revving 2.0-liter VTEC turbocharged engine that produces over 300 hp and is mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. More details will be announced shortly before launch.
