Al Nassr vs Al Batin score, result, highlights as Cristiano Ronaldo’s side seal incredible 3-1 comeback win

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr defended his two-point lead at the top of the Saudi Pro League thanks to a sensational 3-1 comeback home win over bottom-placed Al Batin.

All three of Al Nassr’s goals came in added time in the second half, although none came from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Although the game was a clash between league leaders (Al Nassr) and bottom of the division, it was Al Batin who impressed early on as Uruguayan striker Renzo Lopez put them superbly ahead.

However, with Ronaldo struggling to influence Rudi Garcia’s hosts, it was Abdulrahman Ghareeb who led the comeback with a well-taken equalizer at the start of an unusual 16-minute stoppage time late in the second half.

This extended streak allowed Al Nassr to equalize and then wrest control from Al Batin as substitute pairing Mohammed Al Fatil and Mohammed Maran staged a wild comeback.
