forecast

It felt for a while as if Benzema had set his sights on winning the men’s prize after his last UEFA Champions League title with Real. Really, there are few other credible contenders with stronger cases than this year. Despite her injury, Putellas could well win back-to-back women’s titles. It wouldn’t just be the first time in the history of the award. She would also become the most titled female Ballon d’Or winner of all time.
