Best differentials for Double Gameweek 23

The Fantasy Premier League’s panel of scouts share their thoughts on potential players moving ahead of Double Gameweek 23 Saturday at 11:00 GMT.

What the experts say
Utkarsh Dalmien (@Zophar666)

JamesMadison (£8.0m) could win against a Tottenham Hotspur side who will be without Hugo Lloris (£5.5m) in goal. His goal record has been phenomenal but few managers own him after his recent return to the side.

If you count Eddie Nketiah (£6.8m) as a differential, he is the one with the highest cap among Arsenal attackers given his underlying numbers. Most of those chances on this team fall to him.

Apart from that I really like it Joao Felix (£7.5m) for the upcoming run. He looked great in his cameo against Fulham while Chelsea have a confirmed game in matchweeks 25 and 28.

maddison seems to be the main beneficiary Mateus Tete‘s (£5.5million) move to Leicester City. A winger through and through, Tete’s arrival means Maddison can play more centrally and closer to the forwards – a position we’ve seen him do well in previously in the FPL.

Spurs showed more defensive resilience against Manchester City, but before that they had looked a bit defensively leaky.

With Leicester leaking at the back and Spurs ready to counterattack I think Dejan Kulusevski (£8.0m) could do well this week.

Newcastle United Callum Wilson (£7.1m) has returned in all of his last six games against newly promoted teams in the Premier League.

In those games, he averaged six points per game. Wilson meets his ex-club AFC Bournemouth in Gameweek 23 and only owns 4.4 percent of the managers.

Jack Grealish (£6.8m) was Man City’s smartest player last time out and with one of his two games against youth club Aston Villa, the narrative is there for him.

Owned by under two per cent and just £6.8million I think he could be a really good option if you don’t already own three City players.

My #1 differential going into the double is Nketiah. Despite some interest in last Gameweek, he remains only 10.3 percent owned.

He’s looking good to play most of the minutes since Gabriel Jesus (£7.9million) is still a long way from making an injury return.
