Best DraftKings Picks Preseason Week 1: NFL DFS lineup advice for Friday’s contests

Friday night’s NFL preseason offers everyday fantasy football players a chance to get back into action. While there are five total preseason games on Friday, only four are included in the DraftKings classic competitions as you won’t be able to ride the Dan Campbell hype train and Lions players (or Falcons players , for that matter) to stack. Nonetheless, there are plenty of intriguing NFL DFS picks in what is sure to be an unpredictable first week of preseason.

Two of the four available games on the slate really stand out, with Trey Lance and the 49ers hosting the Packers and Deshaun Watson taking the first-team replays against Jacksonville. Since each player has a $5,500 prize, you need to find players who have a high number of snaps in order to come up with a winning lineup.

Below we look at some of our favorite DFS lineup tips for the Friday night blackboard.

Top DraftKings Preseason Picks, Week 1: NFL DFS Lineup Advice

QB Jordan Love, Packers ($5,500)

With Matt LaFleur announcing that Love will start Friday night, he’s a worthwhile addition as your QB. The only other QB listed on the Packers depth chart is Danny Etling, so every QB has some value playing a half. Love wants to prove he’s still worthy of being Aaron Rodgers’ heir and a solid preseason performance really is a must for him.

RB Mekhi Sargent, Jaguars ($5,500)

Sargent was the most used RB for Jacksonville in last week’s Hall of Fame game, especially in the passing game. Sargent has five receptions for 37 yards and a similar performance tonight gives you a shot at the money. Sargent totaled 10 touches, and another night of 10+ touches could result in a solid fantasy output.

RB Tyler Goodson, Packers ($5,500)

Another former Iowa Hawkeye jam is on the list as Goodson gets a chance to see a whole slew of snaps. Aaron Jones and AJ Dillion have nothing to prove and with Kylin Hill in the PUP expect Goodson to be a heavily used player tonight.

WR Deon Cain, Eagles ($5,500)

With Cain lower in the Eagles’ WR depth chart, he will likely face the Jets tonight. Cain has done his part at Philadelphia training camp so far, and a solid performance last season gives him the upper hand when it comes to earning a place in the roster.

WR Samori Toure, Packers ($5,500)

Toure is another packer likely to see a large number of snaps tonight as the Nebraska product has a chance to jump up Green Bay’s WR depth chart with an effective preseason. Toure has great playing skills and although it was only Family Night in Lambeau he and Love put on a show for everyone in attendance last Saturday.
