Best FPL team for Gameweek 25

Nketiah, Saka, Arsenal

A Double Gameweek 25 for Arsenal helps earn Eddie Nketiah (£6.8m) a place in the top eleven of the Fantasy Premier League.

The Gunners forward is among nine players with two named games in the squad, along with teammates Bukayo Saka (£8.4m) and Gabriel (£5.2million) for their encounters with Leicester City and Everton.

Saka receives the armband due to his consistent performance while at it Mohammed Salah (£12.7m) is named vice-captain thanks to his improved form for Liverpool.

Jordan Pickford (EVE) £4.4m
Everton’s goalkeeper kept two clean sheets in his first three games under Sean Dyche. Pickford also offers save point potential against Aston Villa and Arsenal in the Toffees’ Double Gameweek 25.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV) £7.3m
The Liverpool right-back has increased his performance ahead of games with Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Alexander-Arnold has two clean sheets, one assist and 18 points in his last two appearances.

Gabriel (ARS) £5.2m
The Arsenal Brazilian has strong potential at both ends of the pitch against Leicester and Everton. Gabriel’s total of 15 shots into the box was surpassed by only three other defenders in Fantasy 2022/23.

Craig Dawson (WOL) £4.8m
The centre-back has accumulated 17 points in three games since joining Wolves in January, combining a goal and a clean sheet with two bonuses. That underscores Dawson’s many avenues to return against Fulham and Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah (LIV) £12.7m
Two goals and two assists in his last three games in all competitions show Salah is getting back to his best form. He has five double-digit wins this season and is a key contender for the armband.

Bukayo Saka (ARS) £8.4m
The winger was Arsenal’s most reliable returnee in the 2022/23 FPL, and has faded out in just seven of his 23 appearances. That consistency suggests Saka is the safest captain choice for the Gunners’ double gameweek.

Jarrod Bowen (WHU) £8.0m
West Ham United star Bowen hosts Nottingham Forest on improved home form. He has scored twice and provided an assist in his last two games, 21 points in total.

Cody Gakpo (LIV) £7.8m
Gakpo is the second-largest transfer for Gameweek 25 after Salah and has attracted 351,000 new owners. He scored his two goals for Liverpool in the last two games and collected 14 points.

Alex Iwobi (EVE) £5.4m
Everton’s standout creator this season, his seven total assists is at least five more than his teammate’s. Iwobi has created a squad of eight key passes under Sean Dyche.

Erling Haaland (MCI) £12.2m
The Manchester City Norwegian is averaging 65 minutes per goal against promoted teams ahead of his trip to AFC Bournemouth. Haaland has been provided with 18 big chances away from home this season, at least 14 more than any teammate.

Eddie Nketiah (ARS) £6.8m
Nketiah’s 17 shots into the box were more than any other Fantasy forward in the last four weeks of play.
