Bitcoin Up 1.22%, Ethereum Gains 1.55%
The global cryptocurrency market rose 1.43 percent on Thursday morning, reversing yesterday’s losses to hit $1.11 trillion. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum appreciated in value
It was a bullish day for the crypto market on February 23, 2023 after a day of losses. Bitcoin, Solana, Binance and Ethereum traded with profits.
The global cryptocurrency market cap as of 11:00 IST was $1.11 trillion, up 1.43 percent from the previous day, according to data from coinmarket.com.
Total crypto market volume fell 11.20 percent to $61.12 billion in the past 24 hours.
The top trending crypto was Blur (BLUR) for the second straight day, but the top gainer of the day was Stacks (STX) up 27.19 percent to $0.8312. The biggest loser was Filecoin (FIL), down 8.47 percent to $8.04.
Bitcoin: The price of Bitcoin rose 1.22 percent to $24,388.68. After a brief hiatus yesterday, Bitcoin continued its rapid rise from the past week. The price of Bitcoin rose from $24,071 to $25,572 in four hours as of 4:20 a.m. IST Thursday. Trading volume fell 11.75 percent to $29.09 billion over the 24-hour period.
Ethereum: ETH price rose 1.55 percent to $1,664.75. ETH’s rapid surge that started at 3:15 p.m. ended at 7:40 p.m. yesterday when the price dropped from $1,638 to $1,605 in three hours. ETH rebounded from losses at 4.40am IST on Thursday as prices surged from $1,640 to $1,674 in four hours.
The lowest price for ETH was $1,604.80. ETH trading volume fell 1.60 percent to $9.13 billion.
Solana (SOL) rose 1.71 percent to $24.43.
In its 24-hour trade, Ripple (XRP) price rose 1.79 percent to $0.3967, despite its trading volume falling 0.34 percent.
Cardano (ADA) is up 1.62 percent to $0.3918. After falling 12.67 percent, the 24-hour trading volume hit $356 million.
Binance (BNB) is up 1.98 percent to $313.03. 24-hour trading volume fell 14.73 percent to $507.3 million.
Dogecoin is up 2.12 percent to $0.08617 and its 24-hour trading volume is up 47.46 percent.
Shiba Inu was up 5.72 percent at $0.00001355.
Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) rose 16.50 percent as its 24-hour trading volume increased 50.81 percent.
Avalanche (AVAX) is down 1.15 percent at $20.66 and its 24-hour trading volume is down 12.56 percent.
Aave (AAVE) traded at $87.06, up 1.56 percent.
