Arsenal have impressed in the opening weeks of the 2022/3 Premier League season with two wins from two ahead of their Bournemouth clash.

Scott Parker’s Cherries secured a successful return to the top flight with a 2-0 home win against Aston Villa in the opening weekend, followed by a 4-0 defeat at holders Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta is determined to maintain Arsenal’s positive form on the South Coast as his side aim to continue their momentum in the pre-season.

Parker admitted the defeat at City wasn’t a big problem for him but the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder will try to cause an upset against the Gunners.

And worst of all, if you’re a Cherries fan, Arsenal loyalists have taken over the stadium. On the other hand, the home fans have nothing to sing.

41 minutes: It’s still the same game pattern. Arsenal switch the game from side to side, controlling possession and Arsenal supporters singing through half-time.

28 min: Yellow card. Pictured is left full-back Jordan Zemura. So far it’s one-way traffic and Bournemouth are barely getting the ball. Arsenal are patient on the ball, pushing and shoving their way forward with crisp passes.

11 min: Arsenal GOAL. And it’s a second for Odegaard. Ben White delivers a cross after an overlapping run and Martin Odegaard fires home after being touched by Gabriel Jesus in the box.
