Will there be overtime in the 2nd round of the Carabao Cup?

Round 2 will be just like the previous one with single elimination knockout round matches that must produce a winner tonight.

But if the teams are level after 90 minutes, they go straight to penalties in the 2nd round. Overtime only comes into play in the semifinals with two legs. If the clubs there are tied at the end of the semi-final second leg, they play 30 minutes of overtime. If there is no winner after extra time, a penalty shoot-out will decide the semi-final winner.

The tournament final at Wembley Stadium will also include overtime and penalties where appropriate. They came into play during the final between Liverpool and Chelsea in the last edition, where the goalkeepers made an attempt in a penalty shootout when the penalty shootout ended 11-10 in favor of Liverpool.
