She has a “higher power”.

Coldplay superstar and frontman Chris Martin dubbed Rihanna the “greatest female singer of all time” ahead of her highly anticipated Super Bowl LVII halftime show on Sunday.

“You have to be an idiot not to realize that she’s the greatest singer of all time,” the “Yellow” hitmaker, 45, said of Rihanna in an interview with Zane Lowe.

“I don’t know Rihanna very well,” Martin admitted. “I’m mostly just a fan and we’ve performed with her a couple of times and it’s becoming less and less common that she just sings which makes it even more special and in a weird way it shows that she really does want to.” definitely do it.”

Coldplay previously worked with the Love On The Brain singer on her fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto, in 2011. The track, titled “Princess of China,” proved an instant hit and was followed by a music video and a couple of live performances.

“At this point, no one can force Rihanna to do anything,” Martin added, noting that he thinks she’s “the best singer.”

Coldplay performed at the annual big game in 2015. When asked about his expectations for Rihanna’s halftime show, Martin said Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Fenty, will definitely wow him.

“So it’s hard for me, I’m very biased because I’m such a huge Rihanna fan,” he told Lowe. “I mean, I think she could just go out in sweatpants and sing and that would be just awesome.”

Speaking at Apple Music’s press conference on Thursday, the “Work” singer – who turns 35 on February 20 – said the show, which will run for just 13 minutes, was “almost impossible” to pull off.

“I mean, it’s literally like 300 to 400 people who take the stage down and put it back up and get it out in eight minutes. It’s incredible. It’s almost impossible,” explained Rihanna, who welcomed her first child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky in May last year.
