Cowboys vs Eagles live stream: How to watch online, time, TV channel tonight for NFL Week 6 SNF matchup

To the surprise of many, there is only one undefeated team remaining in the 2022 NFL season as Week 6 continues – after a 20-17 win over the Cardinals in Week 5, the Philadelphia Eagles are now 5-0.

Over the past five seasons, the Eagles have had ups and downs. In 2017, the Eagles finished 13-3 in the regular season and subsequently lost Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. quarterback Nick Foles threw a go-ahead touchdown pass to the tight end zach ore with just over two minutes remaining to lead the Eagles to the franchise’s first Super Bowl title.

Philadelphia remained competitive over the next two seasons, finishing both years 9-7 to advance to the playoffs. In 2018 Philly lost in the Divisional round and in 2019 the Birds lost in the Wild Card round. The tide turned the following season as the Eagles finished bottom in their division with just four wins. franchise quarterback Carson Wentz led the league in interceptions and sacks. When the season was over, head coach Doug Pederson (now Jacksonville Jaguars coach) was fired just three seasons after leading the Eagles to the Lombardi Trophy.

First year head coach Nick Sirianni replaced Pederson in 2021 and led the team to a 9-8 record under a new quarterback: Jalen hurts. The former Alabama/Oklahoma signal caller was drafted by the Eagles in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

This season, Hurts is the leader of the undefeated Eagles – in Week 5 he had 2 rushing TDs while also flaring 26/36 for 239 yards.

Next up for the Eagles in Week 6 is a matchup with division rivals the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Before Philly moves on, however, let’s look back at how they became the last undefeated team in the NFL.

Here’s how the Philadelphia Eagles made it 5-0 in 2022:

The Eagles defeated the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders, Jacksonville Jaguars and Arizona Cardinals en route to their perfect 5-0 record.

Philly has outplayed their opponents in this phase by 135-88, notably dominant wins over the Vikings (24-7) and Commanders (24-8). Several factors were critical to their success, not the least of which was Hurts’ on-the-ground skills. With elite receivers like AJ Brown, De Vonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Miles Sanders, the Eagles are not short of offensive weapons. The defense is led by cornerback kill Darius in secondary and edge rusher Haason Reddickand is well equipped to challenge opposing offenses.

The overwhelming question now moving forward is: how long can the Eagles go undefeated?

While 5-0 is an impressive record, the Eagles didn’t see a significant test in the first quarter of the season. The Lions and Jaguars were the two worst teams in the NFL last year. The good news is that Philly has one of the easiest game schedules in the league this season. The Week 6 matchup against division rivals Cowboys and the Week 12 matchup against the Green Bay Packers should prove challenging tests, but few other games on the schedule appear unwinnable.

Ahead of Sunday Night Football, Maria Taylor sat down with Jalen Hurts to discuss the quarterback’s journey, reflecting on his time in Alabama and Oklahoma and finding his bearings in Philadelphia.
