Discontinued Variant From the Latest Arcade-Themed Bundle Has the Valorant Community Rooting – “BRING IT BACK”

Did you know there’s another feature coming to the latest Valorant bundle, Radiant Entertainment System? Riot Games’ master FPS shooter has been on the rise since its release. The game has topped the charts and now proudly boasts one of the most compelling eSports fronts.

One aspect that makes the game quite intriguing is its skins. The concept of weapon skins is not characteristic of Valorant, but the game has given them a very unique flair, making the skins stand out from other FPS titles. The latest pack in the game is quite exquisite, but interestingly, it had more than meets the eye.

Valorant has introduced numerous skin lines through their bundles for the player base. The Battle Pass and Agent Contracts also bring quite a bit more to the list of weapon skins. If the price point and tier are a bit high, among these packs we get skins with unique animation and killing effects.

Adding to this newest category is the Radiant Entertainment System. This skin has been teased for a long time and fans can finally use it. From the showcase video we can see that there are three variants that have their own unique characteristics. Each variant has a different themed arcade background. It even has different kill animations for each variant, which has caused quite a stir among players.

But interestingly, it had another variant. Valorant skin lines largely follow the two-variant and four-variant styles. That said, most top-tier weapons with kill animations have at least two variants (like Forsaken) or four (like Reaver). Interestingly, the new Radiant system only has three.

The fourth putative variant was the Octo Arcade theme skin, which would likely have been a bluish variant. The kill animation might have something to do with marine and octopus as the arcade style was based on it. But it seems Riot didn’t want to introduce that into the game. Fans who found out about it were quite surprised and were even seen demanding the release of this particular variant.

But of course almost every aspect that goes into the game goes through countless changes before release. It removes things that the developers deem unnecessary in the game, and we can speculate that the new bundle’s octo-arcade variant fell into this category.

The Radiant Entertainment System bundle is currently the most expensive bundle in the game, overtaking the Zedd x Valorant skin line (which used to be the most expensive). Gamers can get their hands on the new bundle for 11,900 VP. A single weapon skin costs 2,975 VP, while melee costs 5,950 VP. Playercard and Gun Buddies cost 375 and 475 VP respectively.
