Where to find cotton

While many resources grow on their own, cotton does not. To get cotton Disney Dreamlight Valley Players need to plant it themselves. To do this, players must unlock the Sunlit Plateau biome. Once unlocked, players must find and repair Goofy’s stable.

This is the stall where players can buy Cotton Seeds, but they may need to upgrade the stall at least once to be able to buy them. Cottonseed only costs 42 Star Coins, so players can easily buy as many as they need. When players run out of Star Coins, there are a few ways to get more.

How long does cotton take to grow?

While some crops that can be grown from Disney Dreamlight Valley Players need several hours to grow, this is not the case with Cotton. Once planted and watered, Cotton takes 25 minutes to fully grow. In terms of location, it doesn’t matter where players grow cotton as it can grow in any biome.

What is cotton used for?

As already mentioned, cotton can be considered as one of the building blocks of crafting. Cotton is used to craft Cloth, which requires 5 Cotton. Cloth is used in many recipes for making furniture. An example of this would be a wooden table, which can be crafted with 20 softwood and 2 cloth. Disney Dreamlight Valley Players wishing to turn the village into a winter wonderland can do so with cloth, as each individual snowman that can be crafted requires 2 cloth as part of the recipe.

Aside from being used for crafts to decorate, cotton also has other uses. Anna has a friend search where she asks Disney Dreamlight Valley player to help her fix mountaineering gear for Kristoff. Among other resources, repairing the Climbing Gear requires 5 Cloth (meaning players must purchase 25 Cotton to craft all of the Cloth needed). As Disney Dreamlight Valley is in Early Access, it’s entirely possible that future quests and recipes will be added in the future.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
