England vs Ukraine live score, updates, highlights and lineups from Euro 2024 qualifier at Wembley

WEMBLEY STADIUM, LONDON – Just three days after Harry Kane became England’s all-time top scorer with his country’s 54th goal, the Tottenham forward leads his team to a heroic reception in the capital against Ukraine.

England’s Euro 2024 qualifying campaign got off to an ideal start on Thursday as Kane overtook Wayne Rooney on the scoresheet and his penalty secured the decisive 2-1 win.

While the home side top Group C, Ukraine will get their first chance to pick up points as they battle for a spot at next summer’s tournament in Germany. But to do that, they have to prevent the Three Lions from registering an eleventh home win in the European Championship qualifier.

The Sporting News follows the game live and provides live score updates and commentary.
