A reminder of those long links

Club Brugge striker Noa Lang has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Everton being one of the names in the mix.

According to Het Laaste Nieuws, the player’s stepfather, Nourdin Boukhari, has informed them that the 23-year-old wants to leave the Belgian club in the summer, with interesting players coming from the Blues, Aston Villa and Leeds United.

Boukhari said: “Noa has a transfer in mind, yes. He wants to take a step forward. And that should happen this summer. If he continues at this level it will definitely bear fruit.”

Voetbal Belgie claim Everton are interested in Unai Emery’s mansion. However, Leeds reportedly made three bids for the attacker during the January transfer window (according to The Athletic).

Lang has five goals from 24 appearances this season.

Coady set for permanent Everton switch

Everton “expect” Conor Coady’s stay at Goodison Park to become permanent, according to Football Insider.

The Wolves loanee has been omnipresent for the Toffees this season, playing in 22 of the club’s 24 Premier League games.

Despite being part of a somewhat fragile defensive unit at times, Coady’s presence on and off the field is appreciated by senior club officials, including Sean Dyche.

The report also claims that Coady is happy at Everton and is dying for a permanent deal to be officially triggered.
