Fulham vs Arsenal FC LIVE! Premier League match stream, latest team news, lineups, TV, prediction today

Premier League leaders Arsenal head into tonight’s meeting with Fulham at Craven Cottage under pressure to react to Manchester City’s win on Saturday. The Gunners have reduced their lead to two points and now have to deal with the added strain of Europa League football as they try to end a 19-year wait for a league title.

How complicated continental competition will be for Mikel Arteta remains to be seen, but a visit to Fulham is hardly an ideal return. It’s one of the Premier League’s success stories this season, they’re difficult to play against and Marco Silva’s side impressed in the second leg at the Emirates Stadium ahead of the World Cup.

Still, these are the games Arsenal simply must win to be crowned champions. Follow all the action LIVE with Standard Sport’s dedicated match blog. Dom Smith and Simon Collings will provide expert analysis on site!

Xhaka Takes Double Arsenal Trophy Vows As Jesus Changed His Plan

Granit Xhaka insists Arsenal have the depth of squad to challenge for both the Europa League and Premier League this season.

Leno Exclusive: No bad blood at Arsenal… I hope they win the title

Reflecting on the £3million Fulham paid to sign him from Arsenal last summer, Bernd Leno says with a smile: “I have to say it’s a steal. It’s very, very cheap, especially in the Premier League. I’m not worth £3m – I’m probably worth a little more. Otherwise I would be a very bad player!”

That transfer fee could rise to £8million if add-ons are met, but it still looks like a steal. The 31-year-old Germany goalkeeper has excelled since joining Craven Cottage and is playing a crucial role in Fulham’s unlikely foray into Europe under Marco Silva.

Fulham will be three points adrift of Champions League places if they win the west London derby at Brentford on Monday and there is an argument Leno was one of the signings of the season.

He has rebuilt his career since being replaced as Arsenal No. 1 by Aaron Ramsdale. Leno was hurt by his departure from Emirates Stadium but says he has no negative feelings towards his former club.

Arteta warns of a key Arsenal issue that could derail their title hunt

Mikel Arteta has warned Arsenal are currently conceding “too many easy goals” as they near the commercial end of a big season for the club.

The Gunners held Sporting Lisbon 2-2 in Portugal on Thursday night, a result that will be frustrating although they still remain in the driver’s seat to qualify for the Europa League quarter-finals as they progress to the last 16 – Host Emirates Stadium next week.

Premier League leaders Arsenal lacked their usual cohesion and rhythm at the Estadio Jose Alvalade after making six changes to their starting XI amid a packed fixture list and a potentially tricky London derby that loomed large against high-flying Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Prognosis: Narrow Arsenal victory

Fulham continue to enjoy a superb season in the Premier League and are hoping to capitalize on the Arsenal side’s weary legs after their European stint.

But the Gunners, bolstered by the return of their side’s spine, are on a result streak that shows they believe they can get a result from any situation.

They’ll likely be tested again, but Mikel Arteta’s side should have enough to keep their title bid on course.

Arsenal win 2-1.

Arsenal team news: Martin Odegaard expected to play

Martin Odegaard missed the midweek game against Sporting through illness but should recover in time to face Fulham and Kieran Tierney is also likely to return to the squad. However, Eddie Nketiah will be out again with an ankle injury.

The game comes too soon for Gabriel Jesus, who continues to push his recovery, but Emile Smith Rowe could make his first start of the season and Thomas Partey, Aaron Ramsdale and Gabriel are all expected to return to the starting XI.
