Greenwich Concours Adds Concours de Sport Saturday, Honors Wayne Carini as Grand Marshal

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., February 27, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Hagerty (NYSE: HGTY) announced today that it has hosted the Greenwich Concours 2nd-4th June 2023, is returning to a two-day competition format, adding a day of judged competition with a focus on motorsport and high-performance cars to the existing Concours weekend program. Also TV presenter Wayne Carini will join the Concours and serve as Grand Marshal.

The first concours de sport, held Saturday June 3rd, will open up a motorsport-inspired concours experience. Fifteen judged classes, highly curated into a showfield of 150 cars chosen for their style, performance and innovation, will be held in the picturesque harbor of Greenwich Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.

Building on 27 years of excellence, Sunday’s traditional Concours d’Elegance at the Park will feature 18 judged car classes including post-war American, Italian and English cars, a celebration of the famous Alfa Romeo marque, steam cars from the Brass Age as well as the ‘Class of 1963.’

On both days, the fan favorite will be free Hagerty ride & Drive with a selection of modern and classic vehicles for enthusiasts and the Future Drivers Club with automotive activities for aspiring licensed drivers.

Connecticut born TV presenter, passionate car enthusiast and restorer Wayne Carini will be hailed as Grand Marshal in 2023, including a special class of cars from his private collection, including cars featured on his popular TV show, Chasing vintage cars.
