HearingLife Tour Challenge 2022: Dates, time, schedule and how to watch Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling event

Grande Prairie is home to 64 curling teams for the next few days as the 2022 HearingLife Tour Challenge begins Tuesday in Alberta.

Both men’s and women’s teams meet for six days of competition at the Coca-Cola Center for the annual Bonspiel. The event is part of Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling 2022.

The Tour Challenge has been around since 2015, but the event is taking place for the first time since 2019. In 2020 and 2021 the tournament was canceled due to COVID-19.

The winners of the event will receive starting places for the KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup, which will take place in early May 2023.

When does the HearingLife Tour Challenge 2022 take place?

This year’s tournament started on Tuesday October 18th and will run until Sunday October 23rd.

The round robin runs from October 18th to 21st. On October 22nd, the tiebreakers, quarterfinals and semifinals will take place before the finals on October 23rd.

What channel is the HearingLife Tour Challenge on?

The HearingLife Tour Challenge 2022 can be viewed on Sportsnet.

Coverage of the event begins Thursday, October 20 and will last for four days. You can watch live on Sportsnet, Sportsnet ONE or Sportsnet 360 and stream the action on SN NOW.

Where will the HearingLife Tour Challenge 2022 take place?

The tournament will be held at the Coca-Cola Center in Grande Prairie, Alta.

It is the first time this special event has been held in Alberta.

What is the HearingLife Tour Challenge 2022 prize money?

The teams participating in the tournament compete for a chance to take home a share of the winnings. There is a total of $350,000 in prize money for the event.

$250,000 goes to Tier 1 and $100,000 to Tier 2.

HearingLife Tour Challenge 2022 Pool Score

A total of 64 teams take part in the competition. They are divided into men’s and women’s side, and each of them is divided into two stages.

Each tier consists of 16 teams playing in a round robin, with each team playing four games. The top eight teams advance to the playoffs, where there is a single elimination.
