Change the email address associated with your Apple ID

To remove the existing email address and add a new one to your Apple account, just make sure you have access to your new email address’s inbox, as you’ll need it to confirm the change.

Note: Apple doesn’t allow you to use an iCloud.com address that was created in the last 30 days.

Then launch Settings on your iPhone. Select your name in the settings above.

Tap the account name at the top.

On the Apple ID page, choose Name, Phone Numbers, Email.

Choose "Name, phone numbers and email."

On the following page, next to the “Contactable at” heading, tap Edit. This allows you to remove your linked email addresses.

Beat "To edit."

Tap the minus sign “-” next to the email address you want to remove. Then select “Delete”.

Choose "Extinguish."

Your iPhone will prompt you to choose a different email account to use with your Apple ID. At the prompt, choose Next.

If prompted, enter your Apple ID credentials.

Choose "Continue" in the command prompt.

On the New Apple ID page, enter your new email address and tap Next. Then access your email inbox, copy the verification code you received from Apple and enter it on your iPhone.

Your Apple ID will now use your newly specified email address. Be sure to update your login wherever you use Apple’s services.

Sign in to your iPhone with a different Apple ID

Then, to use a different Apple ID account on your iPhone, sign out of the current account and then sign back in using your other ID’s credentials. You can then choose to merge your previous Apple ID data left on your iPhone with your new ID, if you like.

First, launch Settings on your iPhone. Select your name in the settings above.

Tap the account name at the top.

On the Apple ID page, scroll to the bottom and select Sign Out.

Beat "Deliver" at the bottom.

If Find My is turned on on your iPhone, at the Apple ID Password prompt, enter your account password and tap Turn Off. This will disable Find My on your device.

Choose "Turn off" in the command prompt.

Next, select the category whose data you want to store locally on your phone. Tap “Sign Out” a few times and you will be signed out of your account on your iPhone.

To add your new account, open Settings on your iPhone and tap Sign in to your iPhone. Then enter your Apple ID credentials. When asked if you want to merge your existing data with your new Apple ID, choose either “Merge” or “Don’t Merge,” depending on what you want to do.

And that’s it. Your iPhone will now use your newly specified Apple ID account. Enjoy!
